Cost $6 and about 10 minutes. Seems to hold very tight, just wait and see. I reckon it cant go wrong for $6. :raz:
 
Upgraded my snorkelling plumbing from this;

This was to make room for a second battery and because I was never happy with the old pluming.

Also;
Radiator pressure test and fixed leaks
Subaru upper engine cleaner
New air filter
Oil and filter change
Compression test
 
Nice one EJ. My 215/75/15 muddies rub slightly, but they have a very deep tread...

jf1sf5, havent taken it offroad yet but onroad has very nice manners, no skipping or chirping :biggrin:
 
Got an aluminum roof rack today to replace the big steel rack i had.
 
^Post a pic when you have it installed. Im in the market for a roof rack at some point in the not to distant future
 
I will, I'm not sure if i'll leave this rack on the car all the time or if i'll only put it on when traveling like my old one.
 
1" lift Kit.

Just installed a Subtle Solutions 1" lift kit to the car.

All done. 1" lift gained. Haven't measured total lift including my BFG AT's.

Fitted my wheel spacers today. Had to take 5mm off the studs...scary!

Now the muddies fit nicely :biggrin:

Finally got around to replacing the crappy factory Clarion CD/Radio with a Sony Xplod jobbie. The difference in sound is unbelievable. I thought I was going to need to replace all the speakers originally but it's amazing what just a decent deck can do for the sound.

Lows are lower, highs are higher, there is less distortion and more volume. Plus I now finally have a line-in and RCA outs which was the main purpose of the exercise. Pretty happy with the results - can't wait to go driving again now.
