What have you done to your car today?

Interesting. How'd you do that? I assume it would be useful here not only for sound, but also to help weather insulation in the winter. You know, these mornings under -25 Celcius...

My carbon vinyl wrap arrived today so played with putting it on one of my Audi centre caps. Came out very nicely. I also had to bling up my crappy old phone lol :rotfl:

Looks great NachaLuva :raz:

Love to see how they look on the wheels when you put them on your Forry :)

Dropped it off at NRMA MotorServe to swap out RH front drive shaft due to inner boot split.

Got the tyres swapped over to the Audi rims today. Forgot to take before photos though :(

Will take before/after photos when I put the spacers on & post them up, complete with centre caps

Got my tint done at Tint-A-Car. Got Octane on the front 2 windows(drivers and passengers) which is 35%(amount of light that comes through) and 20% from the B-pillar back to the boot. Looks great, makes the car feel much nicer inside. For $400 it was a worthwhile expense :iconwink:

New CV's up front fitted with heavy duty lifted Hilux boots on the inner joints(due to extreme lift kit). Needing 2 new ones in the rear as the rears are original(boots too), even with a min of 2" lift kit in for more than 70,000km worth. Due to $$ the rears will have to wait.

on cv's, has anyone else found inner boots rip alot more then outers?

^ Yes actually, and mainly front CV's. I've done numerous boots(every 10,000km or less even) on the front innner. Never had an outter go. Now just replacing the whole shaft/s on both front and getting custom Hilux boots(inner) to stop them ripping..

I've had the same problem even before any lift. I might wrap the headers and see if that helps.

^ especially the front right inner boot as it is close to the cat.

Thanks to Obsessed pick up a set of GT SF Forester alloys to put my ATS on last night .
Scraped the ice off the windscreen this morning.Minus 1.5 deg C and cranked up the heater :(

Had a laugh with some mates last night over a few beers about supercharging Blinky. bought a snorkel to go on as it was cheaper then buying wiring to put a dual bat in the boot. Going to be a lot of space after removing all that airbox for a snorkel to go in. Should of kept the sc12 i had for my old corolla :rotfl:

EDIT: side note, my fuel usage goes down by about 1lt/100km with a new air filter. Change your air filter people
