What have you done to your car today?

I switch quite easily between the non turbo Forie and the WRX- most times anyway. I drove the WRX to Mudgee on the weekend. With the new turbo, it revs like it has a short ratio box, even in 3rd and 4th. I thought something was wrong with the car- I hit the rev limiter so quickly- and that was 4th gear! It's addictive isn't it!

Does that mean in 4th you were doing 160 odd km/hr ?

Yes they are fun aren't they :quitar::quitar::rock:

You do & will get used to the turbo lag though :iconwink:

And you know why they have turbo lag don't you ?
It's to give V8's a chance

 Nice

I would like one but I think, well must wait until after uni and by then would of been driving for 5-6years in total. I would only trust myself to have one then. Where as now I wouldn't trust myself at all :raspberry:

PS. I would sooo be doing or trying to do powerslides through sets of lights and just being an idiot.

Got a boogered AC compressor swapped out, jeez those things are not cheep. If it wasn't for my lil one I'd rather just roll the windows down.

I don't know- it is a 6 speed, not a 5 speed. But in truth I have no idea how fast I was going. I was going faster than I intended to though.

Does that mean in 4th you were doing 160 odd km/hr ?

I replaced all 4 engine/trans mounts with Poly filled mounts. Shifting is much nicer, no more slop in the engine and trans, but of course now there is more vibration, lol. Vibration should settle down as the mounts "wear" in.

Or the Aus equivalent - the Brumby.

Right, Barry. I forgot that the Brat/Brumby was available in OZ as well. It's just the more recent Legacy-based double-cab Baja that you guys never got.

Just returned from 4 days in the high country, where I had a slow leak. I kept pumping it up every few hours, and when I got home I had a good look. Found a small nail, so I plugged it with those rubber squiggly things. My first time, hope it holds!

As I get older, I have this same problem more often ... :iconwink: :) :rotfl: :rotfl:

Did you have a nice time?

Any problems with your car, or tyres ... :rotfl:

Booked in for HD raised springs to be fitted, wheel alignment, bash plate. Will post before/after pics.

Now all I need to do is wear my highway tyres out so I can replace with Yoko ATS! That and find a bullbar for those night drives down south.

Did you take some photos to share?

Sorry about my post before, but everyone who has been out with me in tow knows that this was not a shot at you, but a joke at my own expense ... :iconwink: . I also just couldn't resist - sorry!

Not really, certainly nothing worth showing. It was overcast with light rain/drizzle pretty much the whole time. I setup a base camp at Lake Cobbler, and just did day trips in the mist and low cloud...
