What have you done to your car today?

Havent you got them Damian? They are great means you can leave your sway bars on on road and still experience the comfort from your Subaru. Then when you go offroad almost double your articulation and get the most from your suspension setup.
No mate I don't :o
It's strange I know, but I have never disconnected my sway bars when I've ventured offroad, for some reason
I keep saying I will, but never seem to do so  I must give it a try one day though, thats for sure :p :)

Getting Lisa fueled up and packed tonight for my early leave for Perth tomorrow morning. I have been waiting all year for this trip  Meeting up with a few blokes from AuSubaru and a couple of W.A members from here. Doing 3 or 4 seperate offroad trips :raspberry: Then new springs and lift go in Wednesday next week  Will get heaps of photos and some vids.
Im just hoping my 35mm raised springs and 1" strut lift blocks will be enough lift  Maybe I should of gone 3" or 2" lift blocks with the raised springs...
Anyway really excited!!!

Have a great trip Taza!!! Looking forward to hearing and seeing all about it.

Fueled up YotaRu for the 200th time since getting her almost exactly 4years ago.

Today I continued to set up the Forester for my upcoming "Corner Crawl" trip, with the Subie Club. Today with my dad's help, created a drawer and lid for 12L of water, created a partition in my 60L box, to hold another 15L of water, and decided it was too much of a PITA to remove the backrest of my back seat.

Having an awesome time on my trip with my mate David. Went out to the Mundaring Powerlines yesterday with 2 guys from Ausubaru in a lifted turbo legacy outback (Prime 95) and my Foz. The track took us about 7hours to do. Was quite hard with stock clearance and I did manage to rip off my left hand side skirting(clips back on though). Couldnt of done it without my oversize Geolander AT-S tyres, sumpguard and 2 F**King great spotters. Saw a Patrol roll over out there and another one smash their sump competely open, they nearly siezed the engine due to oil pooring out.

Today went on a beach run from Mandurah to Bunbury. Thhe foz went well but (Campbell9) went even better with raised springs and big 225/70R15 tyres. Out on the beach my master/or slave cylinder and maybe clutch have gone. Had to get towed back to the carpark, then did a hazardlight convoy since I got the girl in gear nearly 100km back to mandurah....

Getting it sorted out tomorrow(hopefully), just hope shes fixed tomorrow so I can get her to the suspension mob for my springs and lift on Wednesday... and so I can get home for work Thursday due to my cancelled leave!

have heaps of pics and vids. Will post up when I get home, when ever that is. Will keep you guys informed.

Hope you can get it all sorted in time, so as you don't miss your appointment on Wed for your lift & new springs.

Hi All

Just letting you know that I recently installed Hankook 225/70R15's on my '97 subaru Ltd. They JUST fit. There is about 5mm clearance between the rubber and the suspension shoulder in the rear wheel wells. I love them so far (will write a report on the tyres thread). Also have King Springs installed. Next project will be a sway bar quick release mechanism.

Tried to replace an inner cv boot today by myself for the first time. What a F**Ker it was. Didn't even get it done. I am unable to pull the ball joint out of the control arm and strut....
I don't want to undo the strut bolts because then I have to get antoher wheel alignment, which I just got one done a week ago:furious:
I thought yeah this might take my 5hours to do since its my first time but it took me all bl**dy day and im not even done. The god damn pin holding the cv shaft to the front diff was a ******* too but I got that out in the end.

Just needed to blow off some steam. Oh and any advice would be much appreciated.

A nice long bar always works for me- around 2 metres should do it. Disconnect the sway bar as well

Installed spoiler, real mind **** with no template, aced it though.

Need to wire in brake light, sorry about iPhone pic.

Spent about 15hours replacing my front inner CV boot on the drivers side. What made it really hard was trying to get that damn spline pin out and getting it in took me a few hours.... especially with the exhaust in the way.
That was my whole weekend

I got a $100 voucher at Auto1 (a local car store) for fixing someones computer on the weekend. The funny thing I don't know what to buy there with it and a note the guy added on it was 'Buy some Landcruiser bits!'
All the guys(this bloke included) at work take the piss out of me for taking a Subaru offroad, let alone it being a family wagon. I'll show them what this family wagon can do when im done modding her!..... Got a good laugh out of the note though.

Pulled a Hilux out of the bog when I went mudding after work yesterday. Was so funny seeing the look on the guy's faces when the little Subie snatched it out :raz:
Stalled it once, due to loosing revs but the second time I had him and pulled him out. didn't have my camera with me :( but will be leaving one in the car from now on!

Elfreddo commented on one of my youtube videos saying I need a louder exhaust so today I removed the muffler. Drove around town and offroad for abit without it...... and holey hell its loud  now shes a cop magnet, drove past so many too today.

Will post a video when I get the photos off a mate.
