What have you done to your car today?

Pulled the rear brake pads for replacement on Saturday - they've given me the wrong pads! BUGGER! Had to put it all back together again. :rolleyes:

BUGGER is right.:furious::furious:

Oh boy! Would give them a dope slap for me.
And me too.

I hope they gave you a discount (of at least trade) for the inconvenience.

Yeah, they give a good price up front and they're usually spot on as they are a brake specialist. I would still recommend them - Brake Pro at Parramatta & Thornleigh. I've had pads from them before without any issue but I've changed to Lucas pads now (I reckon they're just as good as Red / Green stuff and half the price) and that may have caused the confusion.

Didn't fit to the car today, however I did order a set of strut tops from Subtle-Solutions today :quitar:
Can't wait for them to arrive & have them installed on my Forry :discomonkey: :biggrin: :monkeydance:

And just to show off the first use of the "show" plates if you haven't noticed them already:

Unfortunately we didn't get off this arvo as planned, so we'll be headed off in the wee hours. Can't wait!

Cheers

Bennie

PS - if anyone wants the contact of the plate providers let me know, I'd be happy to share as they were great to deal with!

Wholesale Suspension are at it again. A little redesign of the way the shockie sits in the front struts; replace the front strut bearings 'cause they're shot so is the strut rubber - torn to shreads they tell me!

The Wholesale Suspension guys have done a great job again! Didn't charge me any labour for the ongoing development of the front struts - I think they've got it right finally. They've repositioned the shockies a little higher inside the strut so that at full droop / extension there won't be as much sideways pressure on the stems. We drove it through some ruts near the workshop and it went really well then it drove beautifully on the way home which included some twisties.

^ the top hats are as old as the car - so 7.5 years.
