What have you done to your car today?

My diff was full off diff oil/water milkshake. Probably from wyperfeld few months ago. Noticed it because my rear LSD was binding up. It was totally full to the brim with milkshake. Drained and flushed twice with clean oil. This morning i dropped the diff out, rinsed with degreaser and drained it for about an hour. I did a **** job on my diff breather setup when i did my gearbox conversion months ( a year ago now?) ago. Now better with some 90 deg bends and joints have both silicone gasket goo and hose clamps. Also filled with good quality LSD oil now. Happy now, but lesson learnt to do things properly the first time. Seemed to relearn this lesson a bit.

Your lucky the breather didnt block up and blow your diff seals out:twisted:

Stilson, i'm very interested in your DCCD conversion to know if you can lock it 100%...still waiting my rear locker !

Put 2 cans of SUEC thru, HUGE amount of smoke with the second one. I'm thinking it may need another...
New air filter. Waiting on a oil filler neck gasket to do an oil change.
Also waiting on a thermostat housing gasket to flush & replace the coolant with genuine Subaru coolant. So far I've only found an "O-ring" style...does anyone know if this is whats needed, I was expecting a more traditional style flat gasket. My manual isnt much help :(

Photos anywhere? Seems my rear LSD might be getting closer, so I'd like to do it properly the first time...

Bolted off my 2 front Proflex shocks because they are too firm and brought them to a MX suspension specialist to make them smoother. Will do the same to the 2 back ones once the front ones are back in. (to feel the difference between front and back)

Lmao nothing yet .pushed exaust up so i wont hit it on anything . and.new sway bar links caus the bushings were rotted out and makeing funny noises . :monkeydance:

Dropped Charlie in at my mechanic this morning for oil change. 335,000 km service. Asked him to check out the rear 'rumble' ... Hopefully the new rear bearings will arrive and be fitted tomorrow...

Replaced incandescent park lights with LEDs from eBay. You should have seen my face when I realised I had bid $11 for a 10c item with 5 seconds to close of auction.

Best 85c I've spent on the car.
