What have you done to your car today?

Figured out the dash rattle that has plagued little Rusty since I bought him. 3 bolts tightened and torqued to spec and no more rattle :)

Very cool! I need to research a solution like this for my new (to me) MY06 Forester, as I am getting tired of cycling between the two CDs that are left in my possession. It's urgent time to get my iPhone, iPod, and/or iPad connected!
 
went and picked up my used subaxtreme sump guard for the green machine today. got it from ebay very happy virturally brand new no cracks or previous welds. Im not worried about cracks as the car its goig on realy doesnt venture off road often, and when it does it isnt hardcore.

How about burning a lot of your music as MP3/MP4 CDs?

The sound quality will not be any worse than your i-Whatever ... :iconwink:.

Mine hasn't got one ...

But then, there are more different models of these for each car than Subaru has made models of cars ...
 
There is a 'thingy' that can be had to fit in the back of my radio.
DGen sent me the link in a PM once, but I lost it... :(
Still, at $88 this is a while lot cheaper. :)

I cannot fault it so far Barry. If your stereo is the same as mine then we cannot play mp3 cds so this comes in handy.
 
Hey guys, been away for awhile studying and then camping on the weekend.

Took the Forester offroad with it's new gearbox, didn't miss a beat. I swear i went 10x as good as usual. The low range seemed lower then it used to :huh:
Being able to select first though at a walking pace is nice unlike how I wasn't able to for the past year!
She was loaded upto the hilt which really effected performance but I pushed though, even out showing Dave's mighty high 2.5l Outback on a few dunes.
The back bumper needs to be looked at though as it keeps getting caught :cry:
It was great having the awning too, first time that got properly used..

I even saw some of the AuSubaru crew out there (D_Gen among others) but didn't get a chance to join them for a drink, next time though :raspberry:

When your valve guides etc get fixed up, you won't know your car ... ;) :)

Thanks, yeah the oil burning is definately getting worse. Even just driving behind my car on the freeway people can smell burning oil from a few cars length back :surprised: I even experenced this myself when I swapped cars with a mate. As soon as you put your foot down too clouds of smoke just some puffing out :cry:

Sure does smell nasty. Could smell you from a good 50m back. Its getting worse fast. :sadbanana:
