hey shiv wots the VDC do if u take the fuse out.all i have done is cut the back muffler off an put a strait through sports muffler on makes a big differance 100 dollar mod i would dif do nice note to..

It turns the traction control off so your free to do burnouts and the like without it telling you no like a nagging gf, i dont like loud mufflers.

Noticed in the latest Repco catalogue they had a uhf and antenna combo special going $199 for the pair, i thought that sounds alright so i went and bought one yesterday and installed it using this writeup:

Only took about an hour or so, works a treat i asked for a radio check yesterday and ended up helping the guy find the local shopping centre:P

Is it 80channel or 40?
My 80channel is clear as day with other 80channel radios. The 40channels are slightly harder to understand.

Is that arial 4.5db?

It's 80 channel, the aerial is 6db.

You sure they will fit? I did measurements on my bullbar and there is only 170mm of clearance to the tubing from the mounting points.

I mentioned this in 'What have you done to your car today' thread. Im almost 100% sure they won't fit.

Those Narvas have a total height of 181mm. Thats pushing it.

I know im going off another members car, they are very very close:

Ah i see, seems like they stick forward and so are in front of the tubing a bit. Nice one.

I opted for the square Nava 160's then some cheap HID kits for them + my high beams. My light output is more than double that of any halogen lightforces.

HIDs = awesome.

I was gonna get the square ones but these came up for super cheap, how do you go about getting a HID kit for them? And how much are they?

For a decent quality kit; $99. If your going to do it though may aswell do your Hi-beams (yours are seperate globes to your Lo-beams).

I thought LegacyTT had Narva 150's??
I really like his rear bar

Wambat you should add 2" full body lift to what you have  Just to top it off, plus DCCD and front LSD :raspberry:

I really hope they aren't 150's judging by the pics they are 175's because they are tiny bit bigger then the gap in the bar, im waiting for a response from him asking to measure his lights for me:)
Nah no more money is being spent its doing its purpose now, beach driving:)

Thats a nice set up you have there with your dash set up mate :)
It looks like it all stock too

Very nice CB Aaron, nice install too. Did you do it or did you get it done? Very professional...

I hope the lights fit. If they dont...get a mallet to the bar? lol, just kidding :raspberry:
Awesome find...well done :monkeydance:

Taza, a S/C on the H6? yeah baby :lildevil:

I installed it myself using a diy off this forum, was really easy spent most of the time trying to get it to fit in the din pocket properly.

My lights came today, mounted them and after sanding about .5mm off the top of each one and moving my fishing rod holders they fit flush with the bar:):):)
They are wired back to the engine bay but im getting a sparky to finish it off on Thursday i would rather them finish it off properly for me.

Good work Aaron, your Outback is coming along nicely :)

Have you wired them up to your highbeams or are you running a separate switch?

Time to hit Stockton! :lildevil:

They look fantastic wombat :raz:

Great to hear that you were able to get them to fit :)
