I agree, try selling it as is 1st.

Can't blame you for that...we all want more articulation lol :iconwink:

After much thought and deliberation with my gf my car is now up for sale, im getting a patrol, i have spent $4000 on this car in the last few months so my loss is your gain:)

Can't believe it, after all that work!

At least you've had a lotta fun modding it

Yeah i might keep it not sure yet:) Did another small today installed a rechargable fluro light in the tailgate, puts out a good amount of light for camping and fishing.. I plan to do both on the weekend

Made another camping part for the car today, one ive needed to do for a long time, i made a mosquito net for the rear so i can sleep with the boot open on warm nights, bought a cone shaped net and tied fishing line to 4 points on the bottom, 2 of the points have line and sinker attached and run along the side of the car and go over the rear tyres into the tread grooves to hold the net in place but have enough slack when the net is lifted that they dont fall out of the tread on the tyres.
The other 2 lines are on the back to keep the net down at the tailgate, access to the car is easy as lifting the net and getting in, there is no way the mozzies can get in now:)

Went camping at a spot called Farquhar Park on friday night, a few NSW members might know the area it was my first visit to the area and i didn't wanna leave, access to the spot is only by 4x4 on low tide along a 11km stretch of beach, such a nice relaxing quiet spot with great fishing, we should organise a club camping trip there.

That looks like a really nice camp spot wombat :raz:
Look like you had a great time, with a beautiful sunrise, together with a great meal too, judging by the fish you caught  :raspberry::raspberry:

Nice pics, looks like you had a great time. I worked 25hours this weekend, that was my adventure :(

I thought you were selling the Outback mate? Changed your mind?

Yeh its still for sale but i change my mind more then a girl does, im actually in the process of applying for my first home loan so i might keep it because my budget for doing anything is gonna be threadbare for a long long time.
Nice pics, really love a fresh feed of flattie fillet
I wish i could ate it, i forgot to pack any foil or a decent frying pan to cook it in, that one was a lucky fish..

Yeah it was pretty annoying, i left both of them with some jewellery in their mouths though, lucky fish are gonna be flashing their riches all over the oceans..

Went for a drive around some bush tracks outta town today to kill boredom, found a nice big mud puddle blocking one of the tracks, walked through it to see how deep it was, at the end it came up past my knees and i thought yeah i can make that, drove to the deep bit and my car started to sink and bog down, a little push on the pedal got me out with a lot of wheel spinning, stopped just after the crossing with steam pouring off the radiator, popped the bonnet and i had water and the front edge of the air intake, not in it thankgod but another cm and it would have been heading in there, next on the mod list, snorkel:):)

Scooped up a bunch of leaves and crap off the bottom of the puddle

By the sounds of it, you were very lucky :iconwink:
Glad you made it out on your own too :)

Regards
Mr Turbo

That must've been scary as you started to sink

Very glad you got out of it

It didnt sink as such the front end dropped deep and started spinning wheels, the rear end pushed her out but she did drop deep, pretty soft on the bottom, now i have an excuse to buy a snorkel:)

It does look boggy! Having said that I would be willing to give it a shot :P

The Outback intake is right at the front of the grille so I can see how water could easily splash in there.

Looks can be deceptive, can't they!

I always carry a tarp with me to wrap round the front end just as a safe guard.
