Got dogs?

One good thing that came out of it & i believe i had to read it on yahoo or abc news was that Hawkeye was being taken in by one of the guys best friends.
 
New venture for us as a family...dog fostering!!!

We are taking care of these Shar-Pei, Lab(?) mix puppies for a few days for our local shelter that we adopted our Tillie from. We would love to have another dog but I think this might be a better alternative for us, and it helps out the shelter that we love so much. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue:ebiggrin:
 
Had to put down my dog last week. Almost on the anniversary of when my other dog got run over.
Not a good year for :-|
 
That's awesome Carl! That is a good alternative.. I would have 300 head of Basset Hounds if i could! Make the little guys experience go much smoother. :raz:

Sorry about your dog. You are a better man then me, if i was fostering any dog, they would not get him back, especially puppies :)


Today is Booboo's one year birthday with us, he just turned three.

Life is not good, not good at all, so lets leave it there for now.

AT least the Justy is almost done, and blu is in the shop getting a 300,000 mile service (1000.00) usd

Tillie is doing great with the puppies, the puppies annoy her more than anything else. There is some occasional growling, but she has done absolutely nothing to make us worry that she would harm them at all, and they do play a bit too.

The challenge is more for the wife and kids, they get attached very easily. We have been talking about it, and another dog would be just too much, where if we 'commit' to fostering, we could enjoy all kinds of different dogs and not have to have the day to day responsibility and expense....and there may come the day, and that one particular pup, that we decide MUST be ours.:iconwink:

Well, all our pups were adopted out and left us yesterday :sad: but :ebiggrin: they now have forever homes.:cool:

Later today, we pick up three more from the same litter....
