Thanks for thinking of him mate, it really means a lot :)

He's going fantastic so far, but it's still a long road ahead yet :iconwink: with rehab etc.

The Vet's are also amazed & really surprised at how far he's come & in such a short time too :ebiggrin:

Lets just say I'm so, so happy that I've spent the $$$ on him, even though he's 11 years (70+ in doggy years) :biggrin:
It's been totally worth it :)

BTW Jerry's also going to be a star :raz:

The local paper wants to do an interview with me about his knee reconstruction (TPLO) etc & publish it :ebiggrin:
They're also sending a photographer over to take some pics of Jerry to put in the the paper too :monkeydance: :discomonkey:

And how are your cats going ? I seen to remember they weren't at the best not long ago.

^ Good to hear that Jerry is still progressing well, Mr T :).

The change of dry food 'prescribed' by the Vet has had a beneficial effect. It was almost immediate. AND they will eat it ... Cats can be finicky about such things ... :iconwink:.

Of course, nothing can reverse the damage, or the kidney disease/breakdown process. Like rust in cars, all one can usually hope to do is slow it down a lot.

I'm guessing they will though :ebiggrin: as I had a photographer turn up this arvo :raz:

He spent about an hour with us, asked me a few more questions about Jerry & how he's going & took roughly 150-200 pics, maybe more :eek:

I should know in about a week or so, as to whether they publish his story :) Hopefully they will & then he'll be famous :biggrin:

I might have to set up a twitter account for Jerry I think :iconwink: so he can reply to all his fans :lol:

With mum and dad out of the country, my little sister asked me to go check on the dogs. 1 vet trip later she (the dog) isn't happy.
 
She'll be fine, as long as she stops running into everything with her cone lol. Just an infected lump on her leg shes been chewing at. But bloody hell i forgot how much a vet trip costs! we were only there for ten minutes!

I've had to take Jerry to them 8x times (in the last 3 weeks) for ongoing treatment of his knee operation :surprised:
So I know how you feel mate :cool:
