examples for myself how lift would look with my rims and how bumper cut would look
xKiztQ7.jpg

so normal steps for me do lift at least as much as in that pic, and then maybe cut bumper

car how its sits now, how +5cm would look and then +7cm wheel is in the air
would need bigger tires for better look there.

Still no snow? I feel for you.

Yh no snow. Maybe this week mabe next week or like next year i duno rly. I want it. But i dont need it too late like in spring , that would be not cool..
No snow means yet no salt on roads and cars. So thats good sign for car at least.

so i had some time until my eve shift and i thought i wanna come back to that place again and do it all, just me , without spotter , cant be so hard...and it was not , when i did it i thought this looks lite , like car didint even raised revs almost. well now its like about freezing temp so all become dry but kinda frozen, so and ground frozen too on top, so if it hits car it will be hard , its not soft ground there now
as allways just used phone and some tripod with bending legs, so just attach that to some tree there, so that it wouldnt be too low if done from ground

going back same way cam from mirror

so going buy them was kinda boring , lets try some VDC in action going trough those ruts try go over them and see how it handle it. TC was on all time, so at some time it cuted engine power when i tried to go backwards too much, i forgot to turn it off then and manage to get out myself

after my muddy test earlier in mud puds with foresters i was thinking did i get any water in air box , and looks like i got some inside box but not from air intake opening just from that connection that is not sealed at all just on box itself. But on all its not that easy for water to just go to engine as it needs to firts fill up air box to max just then it could like flow to engine. not that straight way there. but it would be nice to better seal maybe that square connection
WpnB5q0.jpg

Be careful as water does not need to fill up the air box before being sucked in - heavy acceleration can do that!

you mean it can be sucked up trough that filter ? that must be some heavy sucking there i mean sure i dont even wanna go into deep waters. wonder how someone done snorkel on that engine with that airbox. as you cant remove air box so it must still be used and just from box you go to snorkel some kind of tube thing. im not saying i need it but im curious to try something new , maybe make it better perform and last longer. as now i just got little splash into engine area and that gone into airbox too. thats not best, wonder if i like put there some rubber sealant around like stick it there and then put that square tube would that help at least for splashes not like emerge into water .
so looks like you can remove all of those fromt here and just find place to put that sensor and you good to go for snorkel

my attempt of something foldable camping stove. not thin steel but kinda thick for what it is so its not light not put in backpack camping but in car doesnt matter rly . i duno its maybe easier juts to buy it , if we could have all those $20 foldable camping stoves that some lucky ppl have , i would just buy it sure. and it was interesting how hard it would to make one from leftover metals that i have

Yes, it looks like he cut all of that so that there would be no rubbing when turning.

If you can fabricate it, why not? At least it will be Made in Lithuania instead of somewhere else!

Done with my foldable stove , its kinda rocket stove with that door now and made legs too ,looks good just its simple steel its gonna rust but that fine. Will try it maybe next day as will go to lake.

now just hope it will not rain tomorrow and i will make some fire in it and cook some sausages maybe. and then play in the mud with car for sure in forests as i will go into area with lots lakes and tracks around them.

cook some sausages maybe.
you should probably get rid of the paint{?} first, could be toxic.
Apart from that, I love it!

Yes i should do that before . I did outside now but inside left, or i just let it burn for some time maybe it will come off with fire.

those where needed for rear aligment as all those where stuck and rusted . cant work on that now as got now much pain in back for last 4 days , thats all reason for working outside with car in winter i guess. as soon as im back normal walking and bending i will change those, and for first time after lift i could do alignment.

and of course i will try do all by hand with some DIY tools

then for some time i thought i need to make diy trailer hitch there too but what about that trailer plug that those big boys have, you know one that is somewhere under car i mean outside and is ready to plug in your trailer lights. so then i looked how you do it on 2005-09 outback, and
otDoXlFl.jpg

what ?? i mean what is that ? i need extra adapter box something for that and then i need to still wire that trailer connector myself in end ? and its not outside but inside trunk ? what is going on here ?
ok so we have plenty holes in trunk that are covered with some rubber plugs that we can take off and put that wire outside down, no ?
and why we need that adapter to buy ? why not just take wire directly from that outbacks plug and connect trailer directly from it ? and why we need to here so much diy stuff, why its not ready there just plug in trailer ?
i mean if we know what goes where why to connect there anything extra?
