examples for myself how lift would look with my rims and how bumper cut would look
xKiztQ7.jpg

so normal steps for me do lift at least as much as in that pic, and then maybe cut bumper

car how its sits now, how +5cm would look and then +7cm wheel is in the air
would need bigger tires for better look there.

checked front arches for rust and how it looks, and put some bitumen spray over there , and then put back that plastic cover back

changed driver side both front and rear ABS sensors.. and rear is good .. but front .. its still comiing up light and all ..but sometimes weirdly enough light comes up when car not moving just standing on idle.. if i drive it can not come out but when i stop it will come out again .. if i drive high speed for long it wont come out.. but for slow speeds its worse.. but i changed that sensor... maybe its bearing then or that ring on cv axle... hmmm weird

Does your vehicle have a reluctor ring; if not then the sensor reads the bearing. Have you changed the bearings recently?

Gen4 so would read from the bearing from what I understand.

Cheers

Bennie

Tried change bearing from one to another old ones but its same..and before i didint had thT problem with that old bearing...i cleaned all around sensor too all those rings on bearing.
Weird thing why its come out after i stop and start car again.. i can drive 200km no prob too with stopping and going and then at some point it come out. Mostly after stopping. Like why its come out after i start car after night. Not driving just starting car..
Thought its lift maybe removed lift no same changed tires places same .but sometimes it cane good for all day ... So yh

back to full bumper in front ... as i dirve now more far distances , trying to find less wind noise.. i think that cutt bumper made more noise at speed like 120 and higher... but im not sure wind still winds somewhere around. trying to find best fuel usage too.. not that succesfull there still.. i thought that roof rack was taking more fuel usage then it actually did..

and of course i still need hi lift point available in front .. and its perfect fit.. i just drilled hole there...

Changed one more bearing in front still got abs lights on dash ... At times. On dash it brings c0023 code and on freessm on laptop ir brings code 43 abs/vdc failure . But today just for one time it brouhg diff code on freessm it brought code 13 brake light switch...but then it changed again to abs vdc failure code...
Cmon subaru you can do better then this lol ...
And sometimes error doesnt delete like i delete it 5 times only then lights are gone.
And even with errors deleted when i touch brake pedal it has some vibration in it..even when im not braking.. like just touching brake pedal with feet and its like slightly vibrates

on highways roof rack gave me about 1,5l more fuel usage on 100km now .. so its something ... removed it ...

And that front driver side wheel still sounds extra loud...something there is still wrong...not sure...i found that i was getting some vibrations from brake discs they where used and had those walls on inside and outside so i removed those and now almost no vibration to steering wheel but still some grinding noise...could it be outside cv then? Because if its not bearing and not brakes...nothing much left there that could make noise while spining. Changed tires places ..still same ....
Or i have some abs module problem that messing with my front wheel and gives me abs sensor error... Not sure

Man i need to stop changing those tires.. but ok its last time..i need most fuel efficiency now so last time...225/50r17 are back...and they not that smaller from stock obk tires 215/55r17 just 1cm smaller tire..
And yes 6/7cm lift. Ill try with lift for now.

But i will drop front i think to just 2-3cm lift and rear back to 5cm as i have those separate lift spacers there so i can leave just one spacer or in front remove spacer and leave just SH forester struts they alone gives like 2-3cm lift.
With those larger tires on good constant speeds i was still getting only 14-16l fuel usage and thats bad. I mean in rain its like 16 even on highways...but thats rain i guess...

and from 6/7cm lift back to 2cm front and 5cm in rear... in front there is no spacer at all just SH struts.. in rear 5cm spacer and 1cm on subframe. thats like most healthy lift for it .. very safe.. axles are not in danger at all ... and on those tires car can accelerate now on 5th gear .. earlier on those larger tires it was all ways dropping down to 4th everytime and even down to 3rd sometimes with loud revs
and front still looks high... i mean on top picture front lost 4cm spacer .. and it doesnt look like it lost 4cm lift .. looks fine now ... more for those tires... axles are more happy , all bushing are more happy too though they almost all dead anyway ...

must be good affect on fuel economy if its easier for engine and gearbox then it must be easier to just cruise around...its still 5cm lift .. so its just what i had on 2001 obk .. front is not 5cm lift here .. but its looks good i think that rear is little higher

That real time fuel consumption screen realy works real time thats impressive..as it shows lower usage on petrol and higher on lpg...as my lpg injectors makes too rich fuel mix and uses more fuel it shows exactly that

looks like i can get even better fuel consumption then 12... with less lift , and just winter tires that are slightly smaller from oem numbers
100 km of those was like going on speed about 97 . so its better and then 50 in city and then 100 km going high speed 120 was still showing just about 10-11 average on that speed. not bad .. i wanted numbers like those ... for trips

OK for a 3 litre auto.
As good as, or equal to, my MY03 2.5 litre with all its assorted add on junk.
Now that I no longer do mostly highway driving my consumption is closer to 10-12/ l/100 kms. Worse on E10, better on 91.

Its easy to make it worse just put some heavier tires on it...my 2001 with ko2's did like 15 average but thats like with that older 4eat. So going 120 on that its so worse on fuel...where on this its not so bad...i mean you need more power to be better on fuel usage as on high speeds you could use lower revs for same speed with more power.
And i pay half price for lpg instead petrol here...my mistake now its even less then half. As petrol got to 2 euros .. and lpg is like 80 cents now..
When i did my euro trip 5500km in my 2001 mistake was do it on heavy at ko2 tires as my consumption was like 15l that lowest average...and sure i did all that on good roads no off road at all .. i mean those are not best trip cars anyway...but when you can do maybe 10-12... Thats could be not that bad...

My 2.5L SG with dual range 5MT does around 7.2-7.5 L/100kms on the highway at around 110 kmh. Stock alloy rims and tyres, no lift, 2 adults.
