2006 Outback 3.0R 180kw VDC project

so new car , new project m new plans for it , and gathering new info what could be done witt it and choosing what fits me

what i bought

how it looked in my yard next day

changing inside and some outside bulbs to led's

examples for myself how lift would look with my rims and how bumper cut would look

so normal steps for me do lift at least as much as in that pic, and then maybe cut bumper

car how its sits now, how +5cm would look and then +7cm wheel is in the air
would need bigger tires for better look there.

checked front arches for rust and how it looks, and put some bitumen spray over there , and then put back that plastic cover back

Not in the face though all engine area got some fresh oil there... nice and shiny later all plastic nice looking haha. You need to try many things in life..

Yh i find that gearbox has like too much oil so i drained 1l and drove that trip about 300km and it was kinda ok see how it will be now for couple days. Will check that gearbox oil level again .
For now its like perfect in this form as it looks. Just will need to change those bushings in front as they started to rattle allready

Gorgeous scenery. No way in Australia would we be able to park right next to the tables in a location like that. It would be all barricaded off and a walk from the carpark.

Sure plenty those by lakes they are camping areas so sure you can drive car close. Not that close as i did as parking is like there in front but whos gonna say me anything thats place for tent and my car is my tent that i sleep in so i kinda can.

damn i missed it ... well almost i got some cool numbers there . 07 is not bad too

and redone my welds on exhaust catalysts and other places .. now its solid

it looks like that because its on top metal so all is outside , i was pretty happy with result and i think no more leaks there just smell from exhaust itself is way more worse because its no catalysts there

Not sure how it will work now. I think i can grind that brake support enough so it wont grind on rim, got soloenoid error today again so that sucks but still bought those used rims and tires. Will see how 15 rims will work there if its ok then will buy some new tires on them i guess later

first day flat tire... found hole , pluged it

and tested some those MT tires. but man they loud. at slowest speeds they kinda loudest like from 20-40km/h speed it feels so bad ,, all pedals vibrates, everything and that sound .. do all MT tires that bad.. i mean i wouldnt wanna travel anywhere on those tires... omg

at leats good thing i can use now 15 size tires on that, maybe some new ones not MT maybe AT or light MT that are not so loud

it was allmost not touching brakes with those 25mm spacers but i still grinded some

So if standard SF rims fit with a bit of grinding on the caliper, then theoretically alloy SF rims would fit too ..?

Yh any will fit i tryed alloy as well.
That better pic with gap its rly enough gap.

Even without grinding it was not making any noise there i thought maybe it is but it was just tires.
Just im making those stupid choices there. Why i bought those useless done tires that im not gonna drive with because they impossible to drive but that was seen. Iv seen it it was bad still bought it. So yh those stupid choices. Iv bought rims then alone for 100 because tires are cooked. They vibrate at slow speeds not just they loud , and that loud its not just loud i mean i never heard because so loud tires on any 4x4
So yh my stupid like passion over brain just to buy something. Then again guy could said that those tires are not driveable. But no . So yh stupid. Now i look at them and its like thats it im not gonna use them but i like rims. Though rims old rusty ones are so cheap to buy alone.
And cant even test tires like do they grip because my gearbox direct clutch solenoid again started to appear now everyday that puts thosr gears into limp mode for most time. I cant just try go into harde places then just get error in midle of mud and have car that cant drive
But yh pll here . They kinda pretend to be nice and then they sell you this crap that was made for scrap . And when i wrote him next day why they so loud and vibrate he just said well they mud tires.

Im just thinking with that small gap there could some like small stones from gravel get i to there while driving? Or mud like you drive trough mud and mud sticks inside rims and dries. So with that almost no gap that mud would be cleaned then from there so maybe its even good thing.

put back my black winter tire for quiet city drive that i need, and called to some guy that has those solenoids i think but just used ones.. so maybe i will try to change that solenoid but only to used one ... not best solution there but i need to try something at least.. and now drive its quiet and pleasant again, i cant believie how bad can Mt tires be if they really like used and in bad condition, they just dont work anymore. i never had those problems with even pretty used bfg ta ko2 tires, they still werent too loud or anything there. so those MT tires are just trash,, i would maybe put them for some local pure off road in mud just to test them but they not good for anything else ... again why i bought them ... because all them cost just sam price as 1 new AT cheap tire. yees cheap one. as 80 euros is one AT cheap tires here .. cheap means china or some russian tires.
and now that i heard how loud tires can be im just enjoying now my used one winter tires for how silent they are compare. they now sound like music like silence ... like amazing ... so yh we all need to get experience of something rly bad just to understand how good other things are.

@scalman I think that they would have been nearly as bad as full bar lugs all round. On hard surfaces, they 'walk' around corners. On bitumen, they nearly break your wrists at low speed ...

Guess i dont need new mt tires then haha. AT will do just fine. Im liking my music in peace and quiet in car thank you . Remember all where talkin like ohh how loud bfg ta ko2 tires are,but they not loud at all at least new to half used state.
I just still curious like how amazing difference it would be to go test them in real mud and see that you need muds for that or then maybe you dont.
