What have you done to your car today?

sorry late notice! there is some great tracks around in gippsland though

Sorry Thunder,

We went out on Satruday around Tyers, and Moondarra area. Bit of everything, mud, steep climbs, dirt, rock, etc. Still need to give the car a clean, though the rain has made a start for me. :)

Beigewagon.

Spent about 6 hours giving my Forry a really good clean today :) including the inside  which included a vacuum :eek: (I'm surprised I could remember how those things worked)

I also gave it a polish & wax too

On top of that, I started polishing the bull bar aswell.
I only got the hoops done before I ran out of light :rolleyessarcastic: With a bit of luck, I'll finish off the rest of the bull bar tomorrow :iconwink:

You know when I offer people a ride in the passenger seat, for some reason people are always willing to come along.

Front struts in :monkeydance:, rear struts not in  cant undo the lower bolts, they are tight mothers.

It also looks like the puddles of oil are comming from the rocker covers , I'll get some gaskets today

I had the same problem with 1 of my bolts. Try letting some "Penetrene" soak in overnight, I've found its the best one to loosen stuck bolts or nuts.
We used a spanner with a 4' pipe as an extension & 2 of us hanging off the end. Man, you should've seen that spanner bend lol  I was sure it was gonna snap, but eventually we got it loose.

I finally got a chance to finish off polishing my bull bar today
What a difference a little bit of elbow grease makes :raspberry:

Here's a before & after pic :)

I had similar results when I bought my bar and polished it. Of real concern though is what has happened to Damo- he must be getting married. First he washed the car- now he has polished the bull bar. What's next- a Baby on Board sticker?

I can almost see Damo one day in his old age as the later day Ted Bullpit. The Forrie- you're not taking the Forrie- I've just polished the inside of the snorkel! Still, even in his old age I'm sure Damo will make sure it is sealed and properly secured to the car. He's got a fair way till then of course

Thats brilliant, I love it

Funny you should say that, because I felt like Ted Bullpit today, when I found out the price for a new key less entry module
All I could think of was "somebody should blow Subi Dealer's price lists up" :bananagunner:
Just kidding

Today I'm in the middle of putting on some lights... Found some Hella lights at a garage sale here for $10!! they're old but work fine. And I bought some unused monza lights for $25 as spreaders, el cheapos but I don't care, the Hella's were such a bargain I couldn't help but buy the cheapies to make my suby a road melting machine

Took the car in today to the panel beaters to get my rear passenger door and panel behind it repaired. Got dented up pretty good against a stationary object in an evasive maneuver, avoiding being front ended by a moron.

I finally got a chance to finish off polishing my bull bar today
