What have you done to your car today?

Yes the scanguage is a great thing to have. :iconwink:

I've had my one for a while now & it's great.

Yesterday Ruby Scoo copped some second hand standard diametre toyo mud and snow tyres for our snow trip this season, two new ball joints, an oil change and a front end alignment. Not really fun but it had to be done.

Today though, she was sent in for some work, I was quite nervous as to what the out come would be. Ruby Scoo got a new exhaust today that is neatly tucked up under the bodywork rather than hanging down low after the installation of the lift. So now I'm driving around with a grin from ear to ear as I blart around. Very happy with it and I should've done it earlier. The specs are: 2 and a 1/4 inch pipe, flexi joint near the centre with a hot dog nearby and a new rear muffler, done from the cat back. Its awesome :D

I don't have pics yet but I'll get some soon.

Cheers

Bennie

Sounds great Bennie. Looking forward to seeing Ruby Scoo in 'snow shoes' and with the pipe work 'tucked away'.
I recon it will be very distinctive.

Mounted my VHF on the tranny hump. (Hehe, tranny hump )

Note that I'm in the states, so this is the passenger side, not the driver's.
More/better pics once I clean up the car a bit.

Welcome macogle.
Don't forget to visit the new members thread and tell us a bit about yourself. There are lots of members on your side of the 'lake'.:)

Yesterday, I took 'er down Pucker Pass near Moab, Utah, got her a little more dirty, and got a tinsy bit of trail damage.. Poor exhaust tip!

I'll post more after I'm back home..

Those 'down draught' exhaust tips might look 'hot', but they are a definite negative for practicality, and nowhere near as well placed as on the 05-09.
So much for "all for the driver" - the current Australian Subaru ad slogan.

The tips were an add-on.. I like the way they look... or at least I did until that one got bent-up..

Yesterday dropped YotaRu off for front end work, passenger side upper and lower ball joints, new rear shocks. My credit card is going to hurt, but the wheelin' will begin again....after the new tires go on in another week or so.

...and I address my coolant leak as well, hopefully just a thermostat housing gasket and not the water pump, cross your fingers for me.

I've got them crossed for you mate, as well as that I've got my toes crossed aswell.

My fingers are crossed for you mate.

Today (and yesterday) I fitted my new UHF radio, mic, and antenna. However, the radio and antenna are currently mutually exclusive, as the car isn't going to the auto sparky for wiring and aerialling till Wednesday.

Regards,

Joel

Just picked up YotaRu, didn't know how to drive her without flopping the steering wheel all over the place. Alignment specs were WAY off, all is great now. Going to get my tires ordered, so that should happen within a few days, and next weekend I'll address the coolant leak. Too much time off the dirt...time to go (almost anyway).

I replaced my bull bar turn signal lights today with some chasing arrow ones.:quitar:

Today I thought long and hard about blacking out my grill. I even went as far as to photoshop it on a stock photo of my color/year. Thoughts?

EDIT: Blacked out on LEFT, Original on RIGHT.

When I checked last week they didn't have my tires in stock, when I went in yesterday to get them ordered the guy must have had the foresight to go ahead and get them.:)
