What have you done to your car today?

Finally fitted the 1 inch Gorilla lift kit to my 2002 SG. Easy to do if you know what you are doing and have the right gear. I have to thank stevemy07 who knew what he was doing!! Steve also helped me fit the bullbar mounted UHF antenna and power cable and run the cables through the fire wall. That was a bugger of a job.
Really pleased with the lift, combined with my raised King springs there is plenty of clearance and improved approach and departure angles.

Got HID spotties fitted to the Jackaroo!

Also arranged for HID high beams for the Impreza!

Took a flex day today and drove down to Melbourne and back enjoying the added height of my lift :lildevil:
With raised springs and 1 inch lift blocks the Forester is noticeably higher !

You saw the sea earlier !

I have had a couple of busy weekends now. Here is a photo of the Forester with the Gorilla lift now fitted and the 65 series ATS Geolanders

Today I finished fitting the Oricom UHF300 radio

I will add some more photos under respective posts

looks good havachat!

Got a new job, so might be doing some work on blinky when I'm back from japan at the end of july.

Lol just to clarify I'm not working there! Might bring back some goodies back for blinky though

fitted my erm modified peugoet partner van roof rack on :)
used proper sf roof bars spaced sutably, then u-bolts to hold it in place, didn't move when I jumped on it :)

RainX - Awesome

Decided to give rain x a go on the windows on the weekend as many members on the forum seem pretty keen on it. I was very sceptical but for 8 bucks I figured it was not a big loss. After trying it out today in the rain I am 100% sold. This stuff is bloody awesome. I also put the anti fog on the inside and it works brilliantly as well, never have to use the demister. I am interested to see how both products lasts before needing to be reapplied but regardless I would highly recommend both products for anyone who likes amazing visibility in the wet.

Rainx will work and last longer if the windscreen has been cleaned and polished

Bought a 2000 sf foz licenced for $400 yesterday
Really smooth and has 380000 kms. But engine is fingered.
Gearbox is surprisingly smooth.

Tossing up whether to put a ej25 that me and taz have and offroad it, or part it out. Would be great to have an offroader again...
