I called up and organised insurance before we left.
Just a run about for the time being, well until I get my ute back from the panel beater.
Cleaned it up this arvo, done a service, a wash and installed a deck and some speakers. Got rid of 3x 20L buckets worth of mud.
Sorting out a new gearbox for it this week.

Drives like a beast, much better than my old 2.0l. My fresh EJ25 would blow it off the road though.

well, I have never owned a FWD let alone an AWD vehicle prior to this Forester.
2x front axle shaft replacements and an oil change today. Had a problem with the first side so it took 3 hours, pass side took 45 minutes including coffee. Oil change is laughable. Don't even need to jack it up.
All of this with terminal man flu.

ahh man flu the worse flu anyone can get.
thats what i liked about the foz after i sold my el, i only need 1 bottle of oil for 10,000ks and takes 10minutes to change the oil and filter.

Fitted the Subaxtreme sumpguard this morning that I picked up from Twinkles yesterday! Downside is I found some leaking coolant... yet another thing to fix.
