What have you done to your car today?

It is great to drive together with lifted "real" 4x4s and do exact the same things as they do with only getting stuck one time. I even towed a lwb landcruiser which got stuck in the mud

Awesome! :lildevil:

Bugger bout the exhaust though

don't know? they seemed pretty open to me when i was there, driving around the power lines there.

IIRC the powerlines arent gated so are never closed. Dedman means the gated tracks...

Lets hope its just a partial fill, thats the most likely explanation :iconwink:

That hole I cut in the guard the other day...its now full! :lildevil:

Many thanks to Dedman who helped with bending the snorkel. I got carried away & bent it a bit too much lol, but a hot sunny day will prob make it flex back a little. Photos & write up to come...perhaps we should have a sticky for snorkels so everyone can post in there instead of separate threads... it would be a good reference for those wanting to do one :iconwink::poke:

got bored today and used my pipe bender. Made the bull bar on the front of the subbie. the lights are there just for looks, I ripped them of my 250cc trike i built. I need to get some bigger spot ties for it. The whole car moves when i bounce on the bar. what do you guys think.

New Rubber

Dropped the rims that I pick up from NachaLuva off at a tyre place today to be fitted with some Maxxis Trepador Muddies. Hoping they will be able to handle the thick Tassie mud over summer
Anything is a step up on the cheap crappy road tyres I currently have...

Can't wait to see those on your car Dedman! They'll go nicely with that awesome custom bar of yours.

Yep I cant wait either!!!!!!! $197 a corner was the best I could find but for muddies I guess its not that bad....

dam thats not bad at all, my a/t's were 190 a corner

Just finished fitting wintertires on my Forry. 225/60/16 Hakkapeliitta 2 studded tires for their last winter.

The Foz has been nickel and dimeing me lately.
Blew another axle, mechanic found big cracks on either side of the midpipe resonator, O2 sensor went out, battery decided to die as well. I guess it cost me about two new car payments, NBD. Hope it stays out of the shop for a while now.
