What have you done to your car today?

not sure, did it at the work shop and he just said that the oxygen sensor was stuffed because the heater element was faulty. I am 95% sure this is the o2 sensor before the CAT, because i believe the one below isn't heated, plus its usually the one before the CAT that wears quicker.
EDIT dont worry about my question wrecker needed the part number anyway so will do it once in the work shop and can just re-test then

It'll be P000030 / P000032 - I've got it too. Faulty heater element & yes, it's before the cat. I've replaced one years ago but not sure if I kept the part number; better to buy them from the USA as well as they want 2 arms and legs for 'em here.

Check the plugs on them first, when my headers were installed the exhaust shop forgot to plug them in and the codes were p0030 and p0032, nice to have an easy fix.

^ yes, I'll be doing that as I had some suspension work done just before the check engine light appeared - just a coincidence maybe.

This is what have I done in the past 4mo including all fluids and plugs. Catback, SS brakelines, Rotors and pads, Front 22mm sway/Rear 19mm sway, Avo swaybar braces, Kybs all 4, Whiteline Upper strut bar ,Primitive rear skidplate.

Thats a pretty good list. Are you gonna add a lift?

Probably not ,the overall 8.4 or so is decent and not wanting to have to get into camber and toe parts for alignment issues. The american version has some ghost walking issue, luckily mine never did.
I wish there were more mods for the engine but here in america not a lot of OB owners really mod theres. Its been a challenge to find parts especially Avo for suspension or even a cold air intake. My next mod is a skid plate from company in Colorado, best one I have seen so far and also to replace my light bar with a slightly thicker one and have the attachments points on the frame modified.

Changed out both tie rod ends and steering rack boots. 14 year old tie rod ends are a mother something to get out. The old boots had a mixture of water/grease/PS fluid in them  About a year and a half ago I was loosing PS fluid and dumped a bottle of "mechanic in a can" in there, seemed to work. I'm going to have a peak in one of the new boots after a couple of drives, fingers crossed it's not full. Meh.

Have a look at Primitive Racing SkidplatesA few people on here have them, they look very good.

I have.
But prefer one that has the sides on it, to cover where the original plastic one covers up in the fender well. Also need one with the oil and filter openings, they will add them but like the ones with the cover that is has a screw to keep it closed. Rallyinnovations in in process of making one and that will also have attachment points for the light bar.

This is the one from gtspec ,that I found off of flatirontuning in Co.

Any ideas for makers of silicone radiator hoses that will fit the 3.0?

E.J a 3 prong gear puller gets the tie rods off pretty quickly.

Discovered that my EJ20 is so far gone that it won't even rev to redline anymore :rotfl: By the time you hit 5600rpm it just doesn't go anymore and makes some really interesting noises. loool

Poor engine ! You should make a wooden box for the end of it !

hahaha! i'd love to see what the bore looks like, I cracked the block in my corolla and on a hot day the air being pumped into the cooling system used to burst out the over flow at redline

put on new grill, mounted zombie/apocalypse lights

Very cool, Brad! I like the spotlights behind the grille. That way they're nicely out of the way of both foreign objects and long fingers. ;)

yes, part of my intended plan. I also have a very cramped garage and don't want to add to the ridiculous overhang of the front end. plus when the wife borrows my car I wont have to worry about my light bar looking like a piece of spaghetti after she hits something.
