PICTURE POST: your favorite off-road shot!

^^Here you go, as promised :iconwink:
It's a bit different to what I normally do I know, so I hope you guys still like it :)

 cool, didn't think I'd ever get a banner, just thought this might get a laugh or two. thanks !

I really like this one too :raz:

It was taken just as I made it to the peak of "that" hill at Abercrombie :monkeydance:

Nice ...looks like you are getting on it

i think the foz is hitting turbo boost
I was getting it on alright
Yes I was on the boost thats for sure :raspberry:
I didn't really take much notice of what my rev count was (on the gauge) as I was driving up (I was listening to the motor instead)
According to my scan gauge though, I was sitting on about 4100 rpm's

Spotted this awesome overlanding vehicle at the Home Depot over in Dripping Springs today, thought it was pretty sweet! Def. not from around these parts!

Sorry bout the black & white. My wife had been messing with the camera settings on my phone & wasn't aware of it til it was too late. Anyone familiar with this maker?

I think the pic in black & white actually suits it

I'm just glad I don't have to pay the fuel bill on it :iconwink:
It must be huge :raspberry:

That's one hell of a beast, looks unstoppable and I can now see what this piece of American sculpture with the winch of fury was modeled off, even looks like they could be from a similar part of Europe.

Now that what you call :bling:

It's going to take a lot of work to keep it all shiny though, I must say

P.S I don't really like the step on the front of it though

I dont think its meant to go offroad, just LOOK like it does

Certainly lots of :bling: though.

& that "Steyr" RV would be fun to deck out like a camper, complete with a flatscreen,, double bed, ensuite, etc. As long as someone else pays for the fuel

Hah! That friggin bumper looks like it came off a fire truck!
As for the fuel goes, i think that whoever could afford to ship that beast over here probably won't be to worried about the fuel costs! It actually wasn't all that big though - it was smaller than the length of a Suburban, just a bit taller.

Imagine that thing driving towards you when the sun is setting/rising, i hate the glare from foglights enough that thing would decimate your retinas...

That's one tiny winch on there
It sure is.
Perhaps it's only to pull all the chrome (cough, cough "bling bling" cough) out of the mud if it ever got stuck :poke:

But as Nachaluva said, I don't think it will ever see any dirt or offroading

And yes, the glare & reflecting light that bounces off the font would be blinding to say the least :cool:
