PICTURE POST: your favorite off-road shot!

Ah, isn't that where the Royal Gorge is? Went there & had a good time a couple years ago while trekking around the rockies!

Yes, you are exactly right :) In fact I used to work there for a summer when I moved here from AK.

We are also known as Prison Town, USA due to the fact that we have 13 prisons in town.

13!? They sure left those off the road map! Moving to Durango this fall, can't wait to wake up to the sun tippin over the rockies.

Lol, yeah, not the greatest tourist attraction in my opinion :p

When you get to Durango we will have to go trailing/camping or something. I am not too unfamiliar with Subaru meets :) I have normal meets with members of RS25.com (< Main Suby home)

Hey guys, I thought I would join up with OffroadSubarus.com and share my Scooby with you guys :)

This is my Justy "Rusty" ;)

I will be slowly building the Justy over time, starting off with the maintenance and such, then lift, light bar's, roof rack, etc :D

I have a couple other nice shots I need to load up as soon as my Flickr is paid up again, lol.

A belated, but warm, welcome to ORS mate :welcome:.

You sure cleaned up your new shopping pram! I noticed in your journal thread ...

The PO certainly didn't exactly take terrific care of it.

Anyway, all the best with your new adventure with it. As others have said, very few of these ever made it to Oz.

Cars here have to be very tough to survive here; unless they are just used as city commuters.

There are similar tough conditions in the USA, but nothing like the huge gaps between drinks that is the norm here.

Stilson flew from Perth to Sydney to pick up his Fox. Then drove back via Melbourne. About the equivalent of flying from SF to NY, then driving back via Texas ... There are only two cities of any significant population between Sydney and Perth ...

An ever so slight error of judgement in his line through the corner, I would have thought .... :raz:  :rotfl:
It looks like the "nissan" was "missin" the correct line on that corner alright :p

Welcome!! It'll be cool to see what you do with it, that's a clean looking roo!

While 4WD, aren't Justy's CVT also?

Hey drop a note if you head up my way (Moab) :)

Thanks :)

It isn't as clean as it seems, lol. It has some serious rust "issues", and mutiple other things that need fixed. But, I do DD it still, it just keeps chugging along :)

While there are some Justys that came with ECVT(First car W/ CVT in the states in fact ;)), my Rusty is a rarity with the 5 spd trans W/ shift on the fly 4WD:twisted: I have already started a thread on here for the Justy, and it has a couple pics of my other Scoobs as well.
