It's a Unimog. The crazy thing was that there were 3 of them at the meet. I've got some dash cam video following this one around the forest, working up a trip report shortly.

I am curious though, as to what you've added to the nudge bar. Is it just a plastic cover to help protect the polished alloy or something ?
Also I'm guessing it has a 2" lift aswell
I must say that it's a great looking Forry, thats for sure :biggrin:

The nudge bar is purely for aesthetics. I need to mount my spots to it still.

There is a 6cm lift on the car. Strangely though, the front only lifted 5cm.

Is that a factory nudge bar or aftermarket? I havent seen one like that before.

How did you do the lift?

There are no aftermarket accessories available for the foz in South Africa. I have no idea from which car the nudge bar actually is. I need a good solution for a light bar and although this is a little bulky it will do the job fine.

The car is lifted with strut blocks. What a pain to put in on the front, the cv's kept pulling out and at the angle of the driveshaft, it really took some time getting them back in.

I just need to get some better tires, right now, leaning towards the Yoki Geo12 Ats or the BFG At(double the price of the yokis)

I'm a huge fan of the Geolander AT-s for their all round versatility, but the BFGs & also Coopers have some fans here as well. Not sure if you get Coopers there but they've come out with a new AT3 which is supposed to be very quiet, has a nice sidewall & guaranteed 90,000kms life
