What have you done to your car today?

What Have I done to the Fozzy today...mmmm part-ex'd it for a Toyota Hilux.
Need that bit extra tow capacity to tow a car trailer and track car and although 2000kg as stated is OK, I wouldn't be happy with a 2 ton weight behind a 1.5 ton SUV.... Lost £1000 in one year and 16700 miles...awesome. The state of the used market in Britain is such that as fewer people are buying new, the price of new has dropped but the price of the hard to get hold of used stock has firmed up....woohoo.
Pick it up next Wednesday...back to dreaded diesel though and I will certainly miss embarrassing most other cars on the road with the XTs performance.....
I'll still drop by to read the posts, in particularly the trip reports from the amazing places some of you folks are fortunate enough to live in/nearby.

almost finished making my custom lightbar, had to a little bit of fixin up but its lookin good, i just need to finish weldin make it smooth, sandblast, and paint it, lights should be on by next saturday :ebiggrin:

the two top braces will bolt onto just below where my grille is ill try find a pic or post sum up tomoro, and the bottom two connect to a brace that isnt shown that goes just infront of the radiator, sorta hard to explain, ill get sum pics tomora, turned out better than i expected:ebiggrin:

going to get all the silver bumpers an doors all painted.took the spot an fog lights off mud flaps an reflectors in the back bumper ready to paint.03 outback h6
 
Had the steering rack replaced today. :bcool:

I noticed it was leaking a little oil etc when I changed the engine oil & filter at the w-end.

Put a new SubaXtreme sump guard on today. :)
After seeing how smashed up my old SubaXtreme bash plate was, I decided it was time for a new one. As you can see from the pics, it's been well & truely bashed up that much :twisted: & was almost touching the sump (less than 5mm clearance) :eek: :o :eek:
Actually, it was almost completely flat. :lildevil: :shake: :twisted:
So hence putting the new one on. :ebiggrin:

I day dreamed about owning a lifted Subaru Outback Sport today, but that's about all I've done to any Subaru since I sold mine.
 
finally finished making my stainless stell light bar, just gonna get it polished tomoro, then in the arvo it should be on :ebiggrin:
