What have you done to your car today?

Thats incredible Turbo, so freshhhhhhhh!

Did my custom Flexi flares on the weekend, came up pretty good. Just did the 'Forester' third brake light mod sticker, worst time to do it mind you (Night and Canberra coldness). Its so bloody small I muffed it a tiny bit, but nothing a few additonal tiny strips of black vinyl or contact wont fix (That wont work, black artline to the rescue). Will get some pics updated soon....

Put a new battery in the Forry today. :)
If it lasts as long as the last one (almost 5 years) I'll be happy.

Regards
Mr Turbo

I installed a towbar on a mate's L series. I should've been installing the electric windows, electric mirrors and central locking into Ruby Scoo though...

Changed the oil and filter in dads Forester yesterday. Today I washed, polished and waxed it. Tomorrow I'll vacuum and dust the interior and see if I can find that rattle around the glovebox (suspect it may be the pollen filter loose).

I finished installing the gear in one of the rear doors. I then did a test to see how it all works. All good except for the driver's door that won't wind back up... I'm yet to pull switches apart or check wiring (that I've just neatly taped up ). This is what Ruby Scoo's interior looks like at the moment:

The panorama image was created on my camera using three images, pretty good I reckon!

i didnt do anything mechanical to it. but i did get it stuck in a two foot hole. it was great. it took two dodge 2500 trucks to pull me out.

Being the pretty smart, sensible, professional off roader that I am, I completely destroyed the transmission in the Explorer. Torque converter and front pump are shot, and some of the clutch plates may have welded together... hmmm... oops!

wow, Mr Turbo what product did you use?

I used a product called "Mothers" Mag & Aluminum Polish. Great stuff isn't it. :discomonkey:
It comes in a white tin & the good thing about it is that you don't have to a lot of effort either.
Just a light rub on rub off & presto.

Mr Turbo

Today was our daughters 95 Legacy wagon's turn for some attention.

Osram Silverstar headlights- the Euro spec ones.
Added a second and loud horn. The single stocker sounded like a small scooter horn. Both horns were rewired and with a new wiring harness, relay, and fuse connected directly to the battery.
Fresh fluids for tranny, front and rear diff.
Rear brake job.
PCV valve.
Rotated the tires while I was at it.

It is now officially beer time here.

Looks good Mr Turbo!!

Not much today. Going to get it washed this morning. Normally I'd do it, but with exams, I take too long to do it.

I have Friday off because my exams will be over so I'm going to be detailing the car myself :)

Looking for snow

Almost stuck,
Stuck? yes, no, yes no!
Definately stuck, recovery required,
Another almost stuck,

Wash required, me and the car.

Sorry for no pics at the moment, camera went flat and waiting for others to send pics to me.

Beigewagon.

I started it!!! If you think I'm a nut, check out the EJ into L series thread in the under bonnet section... SO STOKED!!!
