What have you done to your car today?

I've got that exact setup on my forester taza, my hotdog is stilly the lowest part of the car and pretty exposed. there isn't really any where to put it up any higher

EDIT: and my muffler still taps the towbar every onces in a while.

I'll take some photos & start an exhaust thread bout it.

In other news, I finished my cargo barrier today, just letting the paint dry. Got sick of taking it out everytime I wanted to carry a longer load, but still wanted to keep the lower section. Now its hinged at the midway point so I can still put large loads in the rear :biggrin:

Not so much to my car but I drove in it to the hospital and wife gave birth to a baby boy. As yet unnamed, wife is not keen on Forester or Brumby and I don't like Tribeca, not even as a middle name.

Today i bent a strut. that is all...its also my birthday, my forester hasn't a very good idea what a birthday present is.

Yesterday I got an estimate on having my struts replaced, $1200.:eek::raspberry: Just the struts, nothing else.

Today I'm going to go buy some struts...lower ball joints, steering rack boots, tie rod ends, brake pads, and it's going to cost me way less to do all that myself...including the alignment.:ebiggrin:

The work won't happen today, still might be a couple of weeks till I get a free weekend, but I'm destined to have a much happier, safer Outback soon.:ebiggrin:
