What have you done to your car today?

I changed my cabin air filter today with a brand new one

I was going to just give it a clean, but after seeing lefty's post here I thought I'd just replace it instead

Especially for the price, just $8 delivered, what could I loose :raz:

Love the photo comparison, MrT!

I've got 2 of them coming too. Figured I would get 2 and cover the next 2 years of air filter requirements...

^ Nice Mr Turbo. I have a new filter sitting in the passenger footwell of my car, it's been sitting there for months. haha

Well not my car but I did meet ElFreddo today in person!! Top bloke, would be wicked to do a future 4wd'ing trip with him!

Got the new rims on the foz.

Lol, only inches from installation.

I might order one too.

On the way to a wedding a few weeks ago my wife cranked up the AC and was met with a huge plume of dust!

I'm guessing there's no filter.

Speaking of alloys, I got these a while ago from an Outback. Was surprised they were 15", all the others I've seen were 16"

Swapped the Yokis over ($15ea), unfortunately the rims were from a wrecker so had to pay for the tyres as well, $160 total, so all up $210. I could prob have got some cheaper but I was sick of the steelies & just grabbed these. A few scuff marks but they look great (before the mud lol) & I reckon I've already noticed better fuel economy

Nice, NL

Good buying, even with the c/o of the tyres.

I have been repairing/testing a small herd of compressors (2x twin cylinder and 1x single cylinder). Took me 4 hours or so ... I will start a thread on the subject in the next day or so. Knackered ATM.

I haven't done anything, but the car did by itself... it got rid of the heatshield LOL.

Good thing: no more rattle. The exhaust itself doesn't look too bad, so I don't worry too much for now... should I ?

Canadian winters take a toll on the underside of the car... we can wash the outside to get rid of the salt/calcium, but it's pretty hard for the underside. That's what happens when I can't properly do it...

With all the paintwork on the dulagarl looking nice and new, the wipers looked crap. Took em of and prepped and sprayed em: they look nice and new now.

cost: $1.78 for some sandpaper, $10 for a can of matt black spray paint of which I used about 1/10th I think.

Looks much nicer from behind the wheel now.

I think I'll have to do the same thing with mine mate

What a difference. They look fantastic :raz:

One more vote for Dulagarl's windshield wiper arm cleanup job! Excellent work!

My wiper arms need to be cleaned too. Although the most bothersome and pressing item is replacing the plastic cover for the nut, which I am missing.

Wrapped 70% of my headers in fibre tape, replaced the melted steering rack boots and changed oil and filter. Clicked over 100,000kms on the way to work.

Just cheap donkey exhaust wrap from eGay.

Problem is it will hold damp salty beach sand against my headers and rust them out.
