What have you done to your car today?

So I take it that you told them to shove the bill where the sun doesn't shine & refused to pay ..... that's what I would've done !!

As you said, they stuffed up, not you, so why should you have to pay for it.

Regards
Mr Turbo

I agree with Mr T, Thunder.

If you didn't ask for it to be done, you should not pay a single cent of the service cost.

thats the plan! One of the owners said when i brought it to his attention, 'well looks like you got a serviced for free!' :lildevil: But then the other owner does all booking and knowing her personally i can almost guarantee she will add it on the bill :iconwink:
i dare say it shouldn't be too much of an issue he realised that it was there mistake i just hope that feeling rubs off on the book keeper ;)

Taza, there is something very appealing bout a nice L series

Whats that thing on the checkerplate?

Thunder, that was a bit silly of them...no way you should have to pay for it. Hope there isnt too much of a hassle...

motor went in nice....cleaned up all the power steering bits and re-sealed everything so hopefully no more leaks!!!!

got everything ready to fire, pulled the fuel pump fuse to build up oil pressure prior to actually firing.....guess what??? no oil pressure light on the dash....had to error on the side of caution and call it a night. I hope it just a wire or the pick up unit or something. Can't wait to hear it fire.

Thanks, yeah. It feels better to drive than my Forester :iconwink: Certainly faster, but then a 60cc scooter is faster from 0-70km/hr. It was garaged most of it's life and that definitely shows, it looks almost dealer new.

The thing on the checker plate is the new upgraded fuel pump, I have to move that back down near the fuel tank as it won't pass the pits like that.

we picked up another oil sensor unit in hopes that is the only problem....will try again this weekend to get her fired up

Not my Subie but I straightened out my folding shovel & strengthened it. It was pretty smashed up after track building on Saturday...

I welded a 50x6mm rib along the back & shaped the end. Now it'll dig through rock! :lildevil:

Hi All
In the last 6 months, I sold my 97 Forester. Bought an '08 Forester, installed 1" lift blocks, an Orbital Liquid injected LPG system. Runs very well, i get 400 km from 50 L for $30. I get a bit more power but less mileage.

Great to hear Phil, we will have to catch up soon. it's been almost 6months!
Wow they are massive Garret!! I think I will be staying with my 225/70r15. They seem to fit well just the tyres are rubbish

Cool. What sort of tank do you have? Donut in the wheel well?

:) 235 75 15 (29.3 inches)
Front and rear bumpers almost done
New coilovers came in:)
Just waiting to get her back on the road

With your 1.59 DR, HUGE tyres, coilovers & front/rear bars, this is gonna be a beast :lildevil:

Plated diffs anytime soon?

Why, whats wrong with them? :(

I have ordered some parts for my forester. the first one being some shocks! they will be going in a few weeks. LED lights for the interior also. new +100 lights after having good results with my 04 forester. a new bearing for my AC adjuster pulley as the squick has been driving me nuts! :raspberry:
I am also currently in the mix of purchasing a steel sump guard from crossbred performance. just trying to get a courier out to my neck of the woods.
And finally priced up some new tyres, at this stage i will be going with 205/75r15 maxxis MT 753. they're cheap as chips for a mud/aggressive all terrain about $150 a tyre :raz: haven't ordered them yet but will be soon once all the rest is done.

Played in the mud for the first time.. and probably will be the last... it's a super PITA to clean.. unlike my jeep i can almost craw under it to blast off the mud.. this one i cant so much with out putting it on a lift.
