What have you done to your car today?

That looks sweet HiddenSubaru! :D
EJ, the new foz is great, does it handle much better than with the stock suspension?

Well not to my car but to me; I went and got my motorbike learners today  Going to get my R-E licence which will allow me to ride a manual bike upto 250cc.
With all the driving I do ($20-30 a day worth of fuel or just over 100km a day) I think having a bike could be a much cheaper and more fun option over all. It would allow me to get the adrenaline rush I need which the foz just doesn't give   Aswell as being much cheaper to run and maintain.
Considering in WA the weather is great 80% of the time and it's usually just me a bike seems sensible
Going to get a few lessons in the next few weeks and get my house mates to take me for a few rides since they have 2 bikes.

Wouldn't mind a Honda VTR250  Does the 1/4 mile in 13.5seconds  and uses 2.5l per 100km :) Means I could use it on the freeway too :iconwink: Too bad I don't have a spare $5000 :(
I want soo badly

Yeah I thought about that but when weighing up my options. I'm spending a good $100-150 a week on fuel, sometimes more. This is just another option and would probably pay itself off in a year.
Or I could get a dirt bike (licenced) and use it both on and offroad :)

i wouldnt, i know a lot of people do, but dirt bikes wear out quicker then road bikes when used on the road, plus knobbies on the road when wet make it like ice.

i have driven a few times on the road its good fun i just dont trust other motorist :rotfl:

Fair enough, well coming from the country I've had quad bikes, dirt bikes, boats, etc... All good fun. But your right, if I had a dirt bike it would get trashed, just like my foz

Might even look at a 125cc, I don't exactly want a super fast bike, more just something fun but economical. Although then it would only have a max speed of about 120km/hr... more than adequate considering I don't wanna be killed :iconwink:

^ ^ ^

VERY good advice, ST ...
AND no steel box around one designed to protect one from such invisibility, and such sociopaths ...

I was actually considering a job as a Postie but they want you to have your bike licence first... Would be an awesome job to do I reckon.

Have you ridden a VTR250?

Yep good advice, I've been told that by everyone.

Looking good E.J

Thats a top looking front you have there too HiddenSubaru :raz:

Like stilson & Ratbag said, there's too many idiots on the road that don't give a :censored: especially about bikes.

I can see where you're coming from though taza, but you wouldn't catch me riding a motor bike on the road mate. A trail bike on dirt tracks, yes, but that would be it :iconwink:
And yes I must admit, that is a nice looking bike :)

Taza, you'll have loads of fun. Just make sure you get some quality protective gear. We've only got a scooter but really need to invest in some quality leathers etc. Then I'll probably get a road bike.

I really should book in for my P testing. The the real fun can begin!

Or you should just get an L series

Cheers

Bennie

Changed the oil in my Forry today & gave it a new drink of 15/40 oil, together with a new oil filter aswell :)

I also cleaned the air filter too. Didn't worry about changing it as it's still in near new condition

Aswell as that, I checked the tyre pressures & found they were a few PSI's down on what I'd prefer them to be.
I'll bump them up tomorrow (by 4-5 psi's) on the way to work :iconwink:
