Its a video still making it look far worse than it is but still makes people think you are a mad man

Exploring late yesterday and found a new road which led to a pretty cool view of Perth city from the hills... Not offroading really, but I like them...

..how far OFF the road do you have to be?

Simpson Desert Crossing

I haven't posted on here for ages! ...but I regularly read everyone's goings on.

Here's a photo from a few months ago:

This is between Purni Bore and Mt Dare after crossing the Simpson Desert from east to west with the Subaru 4WD Club of Victoria... a most-magnificent trip!

At this moment, I was very proud of my vehicle for getting across the Simpson without any hassles whatsoever!

A very nice shot, Steve.

Shows the beautiful red heart of our wonderful country well.
How I love that red sand country!

Well done with the crossing :).

Nice looking Subie sitting in the middle of it too ... :iconwink: .

Great pic SteveMY07Foz :raz:
It sure must have been a great feeling alright :raz:

I also meant to ask, what programme did you use for that pic yarney ?

Regards
Mr Turbo

Hi Steve,
great shot, certainly shows there is a whole lot of nothing out there all the way to the horizon except for spinafex grass!! I am really disappointed that I could not make that trip.
Cheers

Good effort! How did you go on "Big Red"? I've seen shows where the big 4WDs need many goes to make it up...would love to have the camera out for that, then do it in mine hopefully first go! :rotfl:
