If custom build why not build body from new
Existing strut bodies were not used as indicated earlier in the thread. Everything was reinforced so extra welds. The springs were reused but the perches were raised to suit.
The strut base that has been strengthened is a Tokico - i.e. Subie OEM - because it's actually thicker than the KYB after-market (even though the KYB has 15% more dampening).
The rear struts were extended 25mm.
hey told me the inserts were for a Liberty (Legacy) - a '99 model I think. The rear struts were extended 25mm.
