How fast ...

I must be doing something wrong there maybe but i never wanted to drive it faster then 140km/h , i allways slow down if i can to get most mpg. Though those 3.0 outbacks have fastest gear ratio from all other models i think, 3.27 , they should go fast no prob there.

Oh, it's not driving at a consistently high speed - it's just to see how fast it will go. I rarely drive faster that 110kph.

A rules reminder:

Seeing as we're talking speed... the road to Cooktown has a 110kph signposted section.
The SVX just starts settling down and purring at that speed, like it's beginning to get in it's groove. It's a bit of a wasted car in Australia, The only place you can go the speeds it's designed for is on a race track and it's really not a race car. :(
Would be nice on an Autobahn. Being passed by most modern Grand Tourers I'm sure, but nice to do all the same.

I've 'heard' they really settle down into all day cruising mode at 140Kph.
I'm reasonably sure it would have reached those speeds on a regular basis between Cairns and Townsville in it's former life as a Company Toy.

Supposedly they've got close to another 100kph in the tank before things go pop. 🤯

"I believe" Subarus will bounce off the limiters before their true potential is reached ;-) Cannot recall exactly but maybe around 100-110MPH / 160-177KPH
The SVX might be a little different to most Subarus. ;)

Edit: lots

I haven't gone above 150km/h in mine.. (closed road, of course).

But it was still accelerating hard at that point, and I have no doubt I could bounce off the 7500 rpm limit.

That'd be over 200.
