Just like now. In this case, I used bold and it immediately applied the formatting to this paragraph. I am not sure if this can be replicated by by others. Cheers.

If you select B before typing it will apply to whatever you type until you turn if off
Now turned off

If in doubt you can check by displaying BB code by clicking in the toolbar e.g.

Hey, there mates. Yes, it's just a feature/addon on my browser that's interacting with BB code/HTML formatting. Haha. I will just do the formatting in real-time instead of type the sentences/paragraphs and format them later. Cheers.
