Blimey its easy to post your avatar!

I liked it when it was possible to read the threads without the need to be logged in, and when I could see who was logged in so I could jump into the discussion. But its maybe for security reasons that it has changed

That's exactly what it's for. Many fora are going this way to keep the scammers and spammers from accessing member's information.

Notice that I have now added my given name in my signature block, something I wasn't prepared to do when the forum was completely open to the world at large.

Geez, Kevin, the more I use Xenforo, the better I like it. The developers certainly put a lot of thought into it!

To coin a phrase , I have just been awarded a trophy will it be posted or do I have to collect it ?

Just a thought . Its been bought to my attention that you can get a youtube icon to easily post youtube vids you have made onto forums in the display bar is this possible or am just moving hot air ?...…. again

Not sure; I'll check it out; can you give me a link for this info?

In the meantime if you right click the youtube video; left click "Copy Video URL"; then in here right click then left click "Paste" this is what happens after you hit "save":

I just noticed that there is 2-step authentication already with this new version. It may have been there ever since the migration. Anyway, thanks, @Kevin!

@ABFoz Yes, it's been there as an option since migration ;)

Just in case some members are unaware of two-step authentication:
"Enable two-step verification. This ensures that even if an attacker gains access to your password, they will need a second authentication token to login. "

It can be enabled by selecting "Password and Security" under your account details.

Hi there, @Kevin. I noticed that when I use the bold, italics and underline formatting, while I apply it on, say, a word, it will also apply it to the whole paragraph below.

Just like now. In this case, I used bold and it immediately applied the formatting to this paragraph. I am not sure if this can be replicated by by others. Cheers.
