Center Diff Switch

Just a thought. When i go off road and up the beach i pretty always have it the auto clicked back into either 1st or 2nd, when on the soft stuff or climbing hills.
Providing we click the auto back to 1st or 2nd, then this mod wouldn't be required ad the trans should lock 50:50 anyway?
 
^ only if you're at 75% throttle or more. (unless the XT auto is different to my NA)
 
Ok, cheers, making more sense now. That also explains the extra traction when giving it some to get out of ditches etc.
Will still do the mod then, as taking off in soft sand requires very little throttle but as much traction as possible.
