What rims are they?
 
Method wheels if I read correctly....and his car is a Hyundai, its written on the licence plate !

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to edit my post. Yes, those wheels are Method MR701s. Also needed to add that those are Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. (235/75/15) -- in search of a dual range box now.:discomonkey:

they're a nice wheel (Method 701), remind me a little of some of the classic Speedline designs, and old-school Subaru steel offroad wheels. Those Method rally's that are very common on Subaru's in the US are a bit too fussy for me.


DR boxes are funny - you could pick one up here in Oz at a wrecker for a couple of hundred bucks. US, not so much.
 
Yup. These wheels remind me of the old Jackman Wheels. Not the exact bronze color I wanted, though.
I looked into importing a dr from OZ, but by it seemed like too much hassle.

Dec '18 in Alaska after changing to same oversized winter studded tires, on roof full size spare w/ matching rim,
added an 18" ext. to the Yakima Basket, 36"custom LED light bracket on front of the rack and 2 Square 12 LED blocks in the rear.

Any suggestions? I am going to new rims and BFG AT Tires in the spring;
the Yokahama's are very good tires but I need a bit more aggressive tread
 
Nice one! :thumbsup:The BFG K02s seem to be the go-to tyre for Subies in most situations. I run Bridgstone D697s, mainly because I can get them cheap.

BFG AT or MT are are my likely choice as well. I'm also considering going to
16" rims with a shallower offset (30-ish mm) and using BFG's of the similar
overall outside size and width as my present; or perhaps slightly wider than my
17" tires for a little extra rock cushion, etc..

Nothing wrong with the car Kevin. It’s those Russian tracks that do it. Thankfully we don’t have them in Oz.
