1" lift blocks

That one does lookm veeeery nice :monkeydance:

Keep a lookout on eBay & Gumtree for a good 2nd hand one. But a warning, you need to be quick when you see one, Taza has a habit of finding bars & snatching them up lol

Pezimm, I like yours too, now that its been colour coded :)

1"Lift looks pretty stealth indeed Red XS. Should be high enough for the sand dunes around here.:)

Today my 1" lift was fitted to the Red XS with Taza's help.
All went well.
I'll have to give the DIY bash plate a tiny trim off the corner because it hits on hard lock and I discovered that my self leveling shocks are reaching the ends of their lives. But no real issues.

Glad to hear that it all went well, and drives well afterwards. I am considering doing the same later in the year.

After looking at the photos of Roo2 the day I bought it (Dec 2011), I now realise that it was starting to have saggy butt syndrome even then. No real effects until a couple of months ago. The killer was towing my fully loaded trailer with a ball weight of 80 Kgs. The rears collapsed. Still, I got another 11,000 kms out of them from when I purchased it in 2011.

Taza's garage is full of car parts in the same way most garages are full of junk. It's hard to walk through.

Dunes are my favourite and where I'll be spending most of my offroad time, I've always had the clearance for making my own tracks in the sand, it's following tracks that heavy 4wd's have dug out that was the problem. Now I should have the perfect luxury dune buggy.

Replacing the shocks is right down near the bottom of my to do list.

I'll have to test it out on a beach or a dune sometime next week as I don't think I can wait much longer.

Can you post the images here https://offroadsubarus.com/showpost.php?p=76429&postcount=45 individually please. I am finding it a bit hard to tell what's what because of the angles, etc ...

BTW, I notice that you have a bit of droopy rrrs syndrome like mine.

When I went back and looked at the photos of mine in the dealer's yard when I bought it (Dec 2011), I can tell now that it had some noticeable droop even then. I think towing my trailer fully loaded with 80 Kgs ball weight off-road delivered the coup de grace , big time ... :(. The SLS never self-levelled again after that little test run .

Ah well, better that I discovered it recently here in Melbourne rather than half way through a 5,000 Km trip somewhere west of Bourke ...

Mission accomplish, and I labelled them a bit better.

It would be nice if my SLS was working. But my Red doesn't do any towing, that's the Pajeros job, so I can't justify spending any money to fix it anytime soon.
