1" lift blocks

Want some 1" strut blocks

I'm looking to get the 1" lift blocks on all 4 corners, have recently replaced rear shocks and struts as they were shagged ( bottomed out on small potholes ) BANG ouch.:surprised:
Optima struts & raised King springs.:bling:
Forgot to take before pics.

I believe 1990's Pajero snorkels fit Foresters. I think they had to be bent slightly but they will fit.

And the Paranoid spacers were the best price for a 1" lift

Rear (SF+SG)

You'll also need 12 M8X1.25X55 bolts +washers that you can either get from them or locally.

I haven't fitted mine yet but I will get before and after pics.

I'm leaving the stock trailing arms on there. Yes my wheels will move towards the centre slightly, but it won't be noticeable unless if your looking for it and it won't cause any problems. You only need longer trailing arms if your going 2"or more.

Yep, 1" wont move it forward much. You could go 1" trailing arm blocks but you dont need them really

Also looking for snorkel to fit the SF foz

Hi Red XS,
Thanks for the info, sounds OK, I was a little worried with having the raised springs and a 1" spacer which will give me about 2" rise. I was also looking to to go to a higher profile tyre, knowing I will have to massage the spare wheel well. I already have some 25mm wheel spacers to go that bit more if needed.
As I see so many of you guys and girls (pc) have so much more physical knowledge than I, that any info or ideas are extreamly appreciated.

Cheers

Stuff done so far,
Rear wheel bearings ( nearly went deaf when RR failed )
Rear struts and raised King spings
All lubes and filters

Lots of work ahead of me,
parts on order and here.

Front raised King springs (here)
Front KYB struts (in mail )
Rack and pinion bushes ( in mail )
Gorilla 1" strut spacers w/ bolts $165 delivered ex/USA ( to be ordered )
Bash plate to be made up ( I will fabricate )
Snorkel kit ( investigating )
New rubber shoes all round ( later )

In that case you would want to centre your wheels. I think most people just go for trailing arm blocks/spacers, I don't think there will be a noticeable difference between the two, so it comes down to what you can get cheaper. But I haven't looked into it myself I've just overheard others talking.

I was looking at a set fully adjustable specific for the fozzie $350-370 delivered, as I'm not sure how high I go.
:biggrin:Skies the limit or as far as my wallet will allow:monkeydance:

Just an idea of what my mate and I can do to a stock GQ and other stuff.

My stock subie goes better in sand than a mates kitted out GQ patrol, but that's because he's got the gutless 2.8l diesel.

Lmfao

:rotfl:
Yep my mate was seriously peeved when he couldn't loose me in the rough stuff, I may have been a little slower but he still had to pinch my fuel at the end of the day. I will only rub it in more when the fozzie has more clearance.:lildevil:

Adjustable trailing arms dont correct the arc the wheel makes as it articulates, TA blocks are better for that ;)

Group buy

Thanks for the offer mate,

But I will more than likely be tweeking the suspension and driveline further down the track so an adjustable arm might be more appropriate also if I have to put the car in for a RWC incase I sell it at any stage.

cheers

Lift blocks turned up today  My exams finish next Wednesday, so I probably won't fit them until after then.

Stilson - they weigh 840g, so I shouldn't suffer too much by the added weight even in your view.
