I've finally decided that I'm going to lift the Red Xs. I'm not doing this to improve my cars capabilities as I'm already happy with what it can do. But I'm doing this because after plowing through tracks for a few months I've started warping my chassis were the bash plate attaches to it. It's not bad yet, but another year or so of offroading and it will only get worst. I've looked at other threads and now it is a simple thing to do. I just wanted to list the things I think I know and have anyone else correct me if I'm wrong.
-A 1" lift doesn't require new trailing arms, it will move the wheels forward slightly but won't be a problem
-A 1" lift doesn't require camber adjustment
-There will be slightly more strain on the CV joints, but I shouldn't wear through them noticeable faster.
-If it is 2" or less it is perfectly legal, Could there be any insurance issues?
-Lift can be installed with just a few mates (Who wants to help me?)
-And I will need a wheel alignment afterwards
Also, I was going to go for Gorilla lift blocks for $115,

I know other companies make better quality aluminum ones but they're too expensive for my uni student budget and I think the Gorilla will be good enough. Unless if anyone is selling some 2nd hand for similar price.
What do others think?
Thanks,
