I snapped this sunset pic this evening, while I was taking Jerry (my puppy) for a walk :)
Not my best effort, but I only had my mobile (cell) with me.

Went outside to feed my puppy dog tonight & I was greeted with this :raz:
Not the best sunset I've ever seen, but still worthy of a pic I must say :ebiggrin:

Took a drive after work today out to Estes Park with my wife to see the tree lighting festivities. Had some time to kill before it happened, so we took a little drive out to Rocky Mountain Natl Park. Went hiking around Bear Lake to see everything frozen/snowed over, then decided to check out the elk over in Moraine Park. It was quite a spectacle! Must have been a couple hundred of them and hearing all the bugles were awesome. The sun setting was the icing on the cake!

Couldn't decide which one was better, so here's both

Turn your volume all the way up and you can hear them! Sorry for the crappy graphics though.. Really want a recorder for stuff like this

I think I like the 2nd one better, but it's a tough choice alright :cool:

It really must have been a magic sight, seeing the Elk grazing as the sun went down :raz:

The wife and I hope to be livin' in Colorado sooner than later. It's hard to beat the scenery and the amount of public land is very invitin'.

Haha, i'll take that as a compliment! You know you have a good shot when people wonder if it's real or not! But yes, 100% real. Just taken with a casio digital camera and put on the comp. No fancy photoshop stuff here!
 
Hey... It's been a while.. went for a quick hill climb up one of the many hills in town here in the Isa after work the other day... captured a quick snap of the mines at sunset on my phone
