WA crew - End of year get together

Brilliant day fellas, a big thank you to everyone for helping me get home and fixing the Brumby! It worked fine till 140kms from home, then it choked above 90kph. Must be more crap in the fuel. I also am missing half a sump of oil, when i was pulling into town, i had no oil pressure at 90kph haha.
Having said that, it performed faultlessly on the dunes, even though the radiator was blocked and it had at least one cracked spark plug and dodgy lead :lol:
So i have loads to do to the ol' ute till the next trip.

Anyway! Ive got lots of pics and a few vids. I'll try make a video soon but in the meantime, here are a few pics! Some are video stills and pics taken through the winsow so sorry for the quality in advance.

I was silly enough to do a sand drag up a dune against Venom's H6 & Pedro's XT...needless to say I came third :rotfl:
 
Just worked out my fuel consumption for that day. Heading to the meeting spot, 9.7L per 100 and on the dunes it was 13.1L to the hundy. Not bad for a stock EA81 with 304xxxkm on it revving its rings off on the dunes :)

Thats not bad consumption Interceptor! I'll get 400km to the tank so about 13l per 100km too. I'm keen to go out again too but it probably won't be till after christmas.
 
Not sure about litres per hundred but i havnt filled my tank since Sunday, ive done 400km on the tank and still have well over a quarter left.
Can't wait till the next one I vote we hit the bush though.

Pretty much all the sound is just wind noise so i had to put music in it, ive done my best to keep the soundtrack pretty happy and neutral. Im also using Windows live movie maker so dont expect anything great cos it isnt! The two drag races are towards the end of the vid.

The sand is very white, you must need snow sunglasses.
