Shocks and springs were put in on the weekend, thanks to taza!
Just got to get a wheel alignment done and will be set.
Have been driving around for a few days now, and still can't get over how good it feels (and looks) compared to the original shot suspension! 100% happy with the ride height now. I went straight to one of my favourite offroad places after picking it up to test it out, and could really feel the difference in ride height going up the ruts.
Couple things I noticed straight away:
1. Handling - Way more responsive on the road, grips the road well and corners a heap better. Feels more like a subaru I'd imagine should do.
2. Firm ride - Not harsh or unpleasant, just pretty firm when going over bumps and whatnot, even at 28 PSI. Did feel better on the corrugations I drove it on.
3. Articulation - immediately noticeable when I took it up the tracks, but can be solved by disconnecting the swaybars (tip from taza).
Will take some pictures and measurements sometime soon.
Next modification will be a sump guard and maybe later down the track a bullbar would be nice. Also looking for some alloy wheels to get a bit more power and maybe economy....
Maybe in the future some 1" spacers but will see how we go for now.
And to everyone here who helped out in this thread and others - thanks!
