Suggestions for serious offroad tyres for a Foz

Maxxis make some decent MT's for a good price Kevin. My mate just got some on his zookie GV.

Thanks, yes, I'll be looking at them too!

The maxxis trepador would be good but pretty loud, comes in 205/70r15 and 205/80r16 :

I saw the General Grabbers were mentioned... Any one actually tried them on a Foz?
Tyre Power have priced them for me at $215 a tyre for General Grabber AT2 in a 215/65R16. Seems reasonable for an A/T and they look pretty chunky.

I do have them (AT) on my Forester, very happy with them ! I had some BFGoodrich AT which were nice, but too noisy and felt harder, too hard for a light Forester !

I've been running the grabbers in 205/75 15 for a few years now, love them. Next time I'll probably get the same but in 225/70 15.

I wonder how much the Trepador would be. I think they'd be pretty cr*p onroad but be great as an offroad set :lildevil::monkeydance:

i've just got a set of trepadors for my foz - $215 a corner in 205/70/15
cant comment on them yet as they're not quiet 'on' the car yet.
this was a test fit - mind you the suspension is about to be changed - coilovers out struts and springs back in :)

So jealous! I wish I had some 15" rims for the trepador tell us how they go when you've got them fitted!! I managed to get my geo's for $200 a tyre after a heap of shopping round and price matches

Obsessed would love to see a pic with tyres on the car. Ratbag the $220 was the price for maxis trepadors mud tyre in 205/70/15 and I paid the same for the geolander at/s in 215/60/16
