Ridin' around...hop in.

Dang...looks like y'all had some fun!!! Wish I could have joined you.

Ya should've....:raspberry:

It was awesome! I now wish I had stayed longer. lol

Ya should've....:rotfl:

Here's the better pics from last weeks ride/camp in West Virginia with Deadlock281. His OB is badass and was right at home in the woods. We had a great time and hit some good trails, DLs OB has some redneck pinstripeing now too.:lildevil:
There's hours of vids from the trip to edit also.

DL headed out the next morning to see a bud that lives in the North Carolina mountains so I had to slum it with the 4Runner again.:rotfl:

Tony has to air down to hang with my Foz.:lildevil: I don't even know how.

This is a local zombie buddy that just had to show us a "great" spot near the creek. Tony proceeded to get stuck.:rotfl:And quess who got to pull out the 'Yota....
It was a beautiful creek beyond the mud, but not the kind of spot where we had any business with the vehicles. The "Tread Lightly" idea is something every off roader should keep in mind.

Some DAMN good looking shots there Mike! Lol

I figured you'd like at least one!

Damn, did he really have to air down!? LOL

Guaranteed.

We did some tuff stuff.
He ended up with something broken in the front driveline, I think it was screwed 2 weeks earlier at Uwharrie Nat Forest trying to keep up with the Forester.:monkeydance:
I told him rite then what I'd do, run a WTT ad:

WTT Toyota 4Runner for a Subaru Forester.
The 'Yota is in great shape, and pretty.
Great grocery getter and taxi.
I'm looking for a Foz, any condition.
Please help.

Yep. But he had to spend all day Saturday replacing parts. No ridin' that day.
I headed out Sunday for an easier gravel lap, it didn't take long to find a trail that I'd never checked out before. The remains of an old logging grade were evident if ya looked hard enough.

I've said it before & I'll say it again, the more I see & read this thread, the more I love it.
I just can't get enough of the fantastic pics & adventures you're having :)

What an awesome pic :raz:
I don't know what it is, but there's something that just strikes a note with it & me for some reason :raz::biggrin::raz:

It's always the way isn't it. A Subi to the rescue :monkeydance:

I also love the advert for the Yoto.....Brilliant

Regards
Mr Turbo

Threads like this from OS subi nuts make me want to put my subi in a container and ship it over there - then tour! Tour! Tour!

Just "gotta win" tatts first!

Love the pics mate. I hope that little turtle was moved from harm that could come his way while hanging out in a puddle on a road...

Cheers

Bennie

Thanks Bennie and everyone, glad y'all are enjoying the ride and adventures. Now I feel like a certifiable ORS nut.
Hopefully you'll "win tatts" and can come see us. In the meantime, come on over, we'll find ya a ride...:bananatoast:
The Box turtle was working pretty hard to get deep in the mud, maybe to get some relief from the heat, we did move him to the ditch though. I'm always torn about whether or not to move turtles. They're alot more mobile than most folks think.:) By the time we got done taking a break, the turtle was headed back into the water! The trail looked to be hardly used so we left him alone this time.

Turbo, I just about backed off that moss covered rock in the middle of the frame, the water was 4-5 ft deep there. There's a new pucker in my drivers seat. So yea that pic speaks to me too, it says "Pay attention!".

The area of the West Virginia mountains that we where ridin' through is covered with overloaded apple trees rite now, unlike I've ever seen.

Great pics as usual Gravel Rocks! I especially enjoyed the chipmunks nattering in August 13... I bet the Yota was glad not to be flying solo!

Best regards,
