Well the trip is over and i am back in Sydney (been here for a week) and then to South West Rocks on Thursday but only for a couple of days and then to the Gold Coast to have xmas with the kids and then.....not sure.
The trip was great but one sour note was someone came into my tent when i was fishing and knocked off my CTek battery charger.
Strange really as i had my computer on charge next to it plus rods,reels,phone and lots of stuff just laying around. I can't make heads nor tails of why you would just take a battery charger.
Bad note to end up on but otherwise all good.:ebiggrin:

Yeah,funny how it affects your thought process also. Felt like i had to keep looking at the tent to see if anyone is around and packed up lots of small stuff like reels into the car and generally wondering if they had sized the tent up for a future raid. This is the first time something like this has happened to me and i'm generally not one to worry about stuff too much but i guess it does happen and you do need to take precautions.
I will check into what insurance i can have as some of the stuff i have is reasonable expensive to replace.
Not dwelling on it though, all up a great trip with plenty of nice fish and a few 'firsts' as far as fishing goes. Just need to source a new CTek 10amp charger. Could have been much worse.:ebiggrin:

That is not a good way to end a trip.
But as you say, it could have been worse.

Good to hear that you had are great trip apart from the CTek battery charger incident.

Bummer about the battery charger, but looks like the rest of the trip made up for it. Glad they left the rest of your stuff alone, they must have been in desperate need for some reason.:confused:
 
Mate thats terrible news bout the CTek, :( I know thats very disappointing but if I were you I'd look on the positive side...for some bizarre reason they left your computer, phone etc. Bloody annoying & puts a sour note to the trip but could've been much worse :shake:

PS: a note to those thinking of putting a padlock on your tent...DON'T! A******s will still break in by cutting the tent, so now you've lost your gear plus your tent. I know people thats happened to :yell::furious:
