Xs or xt

I'm lucky to get 10L/100km, on mostly freeways, driving with economy in mind!:(:shake::shrug:

Really I usually get no less than 450km to a tank, every tank. This is with thrashing the living hell out of the car and revving the guts out of it almost every gear change. With a mix of freeway, highway, city and offroading to most tanks.
I think thats about 11l per 100km. Somtimes it goes down to 8-9, but never really much higher unless it's all offroading.. I reckon it's ok for a 2.0l but the 2.5 donk is a much better engine all round.

Geez mate

That sure looks like it's in beautiful condition ... Very pretty

My SWMBO's SH has privacy glass in the back and back side windows, but pretty clear in the front side windows.

They say a picture tells a thousand words & your pics sure do that :raz:

It looks fantastic OutbackOiler :raz:

Congrats again mate & enjoy

Regards
Mr Turbo

Great colour and looks so well kept. And the unmodded appearance probably means there is a greater chance that it hasn't been thrashed. I don't know about those black protector strips on the corners though. I like a clean uncluttered look but they probobly have done some protective work in their time. Is it auto or manual?

Strange heh, but I just looked up my records and I have been under 10L/100km for all of the last 45 fills. It gets a reasonable amount of city running and on the open road I do most of the overtaking - in fact very few cars would be travelling faster than I do. Subaru claimed it is an 11.4 combined car but to me it is an 8+

Looking awesome OO. So clean & straight, fantastic condition. Looks like you got a real winner & its only getting better as you customise it :lildevil:

Don't want to take over OO's thread with fuel consumption figures, suffice to say there is room for improvement! :(

Well I have had it for a few weeks now and I am so happy, I have not been this happy about a car for years I am still glad I went with the XT, it just makes a great car that much sweeter. This one will be in my garage for quite some time. I think I will be looking at a nudge bar first, so I can mount my rally 4000's on.

Great to hear, mate ...

It's a really nice feeling when you feel you have made the right decision for you about something.

Very happy for you.

Missed the update with pics, looks great. Not sure about the black corner strips either though. I have to admit I'm suffering a little from turbo envy.

Gotta have the turbo goodness....

I got a scangauge a while ago and started monitoring the fuel economy. I normally try to keep it frugal, but not today. The goal of the afternoon was to come home with the highest fuel consumption possible.

Let me tell you: IT WAS FUN!!! Got home with 16.3l/100km

The scangauge sounds interesting, what is it and is it priced to get under SWMBO's radar
