Actually the hot dogs get a better rap in Chicago, and I did have a pretty impressive Chicago dog. New York had some decent ones on offer, but the only ones I really had were from street vendors. New York does have a huge diversity of food - I had the famous Katz pastrami sandwich, which is fantastic upon first bite, but after a while I just got sick of having a mouthful of meat (that's what she said). Very thick sandwich. Unfortunately we ran out of time to visit the famous soup Nazi kitchen.
It certainly has been an awesome time. Road trip of a lifetime! Now its time to whip my foz back into shape.
