PICTURE POST: your favorite off-road shot!

Exploder

I miss it. 4" suspension lift, 2" body lift, F250 rear springs, 4:10s w/lockers front and rear, etc, etc. Here's a better snap:

Like I said earlier, I fixed the light bar, and also added a tad bit more to the roof as well (to the tune of 4-lamps custom mounted to a stock cross rail). All in all, I think the pictures turned out alright, not bad for a quick 20 minute shoot. I got to park in the middle of a river (well, on a shallow sand bank just beneath the surface). In the first picture, I'm about one foot away from the start of a steep drop-off which steeply descends to 30 feet deep just out of frame.

Looking good Bluefox. how bright are the light on the roof? Also how did you do the wiring for them?
Could you take a picture of what all your lights light up at night.
The picture of your foz in the river looks awesome, only thing is you need some lift on the poor foz.

Taza

I took these on my last trip to Tassie when I had my first Forester. Just in case you thought I only went where there was dust and mud, some fine alpine scenes here in the NSW and Victorian high country before hitting Tassie.

MadScotsMan: Even with all those nice upgrades, an Exploder is still just an Exploder. Sorry. :raz:

Blue Fox: Your Fozza is getting nicer all the time. Nice shots, too.

Rally: Where's the Subie?!? :poke:

I'm in it for the first pic, the rest I had to walk to. You'd reckon they'd let you drive there wouldn't you!

Lol at the "fog".

Also, are those headlamps aftermarket? I really like the look.

The basic headlight design is standard equipment here in Aus. But the projector lens you see in the middle is aftermarket, yes. Much better light distribution...

This is a few years back at Minerva National Park, at Springsure just south of Emerald in Queensland.

OK, so maybe the previous shots had no Subaru in them. But this is what it is all about- and here we have 3 Subarus a well. And 3 camp ovens so we must have eaten well!

But this one is of a moment that will forever be a part of the ORS folklore.

That one, together with the one that we missed getting on camera, of the first bump it went over, after it was recovered & drove away (most of it  anyway :rotfl:)

And yes I remember that trip with the campfire & camp ovens :raz: It was a fantastic trip thats for sure

Regards
Mr Turbo

On the same trip, Mr Turbo brought his new car. But it did not make it all the way. Here he is just before he tried the last mud section. As you can see, he is certainly looking forward to it.
