PICTURE POST: your favorite off-road shot!

Yep, thats nice wheel travel, by the way, could you give us the spring rates and length ? Thanks !

Three Wheelin'

I moved to a new place a couple of weeks ago, so I checked out Google Earth to find some trails for a little off road action. This shot was taken near Spring Creek in The Woodlands, Texas.

Sorry this shot is sideways. Honestly, there was no liquor involved. It didn't look rotated on my phone.

I have gotten a few more mods done to my wagon, and found a little offroad too while on my way home-

@ TX curb hopper, why is there written V6 on your signature ?

@ ratty2austin, nice shot !

Nice pic!

Very curious about these "few more mods. . ." ;)

well, I have a basket/custom roof rail system I am building (which will have at some point some shade/rain awnings that retract on both sides, hold large flood lights, some small LED marker lights/camp lights, and some sort of ABS pipe solar water heater/holder with a shower/handwash spigot for camping)

I have some interior camping mods/stereo stuff to install as well, race style seats with 4 points (to eliminate the auto-retractor seatbelts that are frayed too)

annnnnd, I just picked this up, to install soon (I need a new clutch kit as well)

probably not a big deal for you all in other countries, but here in the US this is a big deal :iconwink:

Ohhh I like that. Any pics (or drawings if there's nothing to see yet) we could get a look at? I'm always on the lookout for ideas

Soon.. very soon! I can try to sketch up something, but I will start assembling it soon, I have the metal bits, and some of the tubing- I might try to do some welding tomorrow morning... as far as the dual range bracket- it's the whole transmission, since my legacy only has the standard single range AWD- (the only kind available in the US)

I suppose I should keep my posting in a separate thread if it's not an offroad pic  (that means I will have to be offroad when I get pics of my next mods update! )

One from a while ago, Venom on top of Mt.Cole. It looks like he's about to slide right off the edge! :iconwink:

woah cool that is a long way up!

I tested out my wagon at the local off-road park yesterday, lost a bolt in the lift kit too! (had to borrow a bumper bolt from the rear bumper and a lug nut from the wheel to make it out of there!)

Sweet pictures

everyone has such good pics. I'm usually solo, so all I get are the "posed" shots. O well. Have images to go through, but here is a quick and dirty crop from a couple of days ago. 105*F so No, that isn't snow

Ooh hell yeah!!

Did you do the GL low swap too??

Y O U W I L L L O V E IT!!

I know you've been working on a bunch of things getting your 4.11 dual ranger going, but I think you'll be waay psyched with the full time AWD AND low range (despite not having the locked center), especially if it's 4.11 in your gen 1 legacy!!

congrats! details on where, when and how $$ you got the DR AWD? ;)

I'm working on trying to get a factory DR lever and console cover over here. . . but $pendy shipping :(
