Sorry can't make the whole weekend, so probably just a sunday for me.
 
And my family "do" got moved to Sunday arvo - so Im out!

Sorry about that, but havent seen much of my sister recently as she lives in Jindabyne for the winter.
 
I am interested in tagging along for the day.....so if it's Sunday then that's fine.

I was thinking of taking the GT, but a mate of mine has just purchased an X-Trail and wants to see how it goes.

I'll understand if we only want it to be a 100% Subies though.....

for Rally and mr T do you wan't to meet at the servo on the corner of Pacific Hwy and Redleaf Ave at Wahroonga? about 8:30 AM its a few streets before the highway heading north. GPS position 33 43 11.45S 151 07 00.91E
for Tweaksta if you come on Sunday you can meet us on the corner of Martinsville Rd and Martinsville hill Rd at 9:00 AM GPS position33 03 34.31S 151 24 33.66E and will be on UHF channel 15. i'll PM you my mobile number
 
yep, that sounds good. I will bring the chainsaw & roast, can someone bring the spuds. What else should we bring?
 
i'll bring the spuds, pumpkin and a can of corn. should i bring a coal oven or is yours enough? does someone have a 12 bed pump? mine shat it self

Eden, for a meeting spot, the servo sounds good to me. :)

I'll bring some snags, my trusty camp stove to cook them on & some bread rolls, aswell as some nibbles (chips, dips etc).

Eden, I'll have a 12v pump which I'll bring with me. :biggrin:

What about the camp fire ? Do you want me to bring some wood with me or do we chance it with what we find up there ?

You're not wrong about that. I've had a :censored: :censored: of a week.

I'm just glad that the w-end is here. Now it's time to have some fun camping in the great outdoors, with some great mates. :)

I also had a bad week. Bad news at work for a few- sign of the times. Did not get a chance to pick up the meat- will need to make a detour on the way- say Tuggerah

yep no worries, might even go to the big westfeilds there. need to go to dick smith to get a power adapter for the lappy.
 
Eden & Rally what can I say. Great trip, great company & great weather. It was just what the doctor ordered after a shocker of a week at work.

I'm just going through the photos at the moment. Once I've sorted them I'll post a few up together with a trip report aswell. :)

Thanks again for a top camping & relaxing w-end. :biggrin:

I don't know what the other half were doing, but I also really enjoyed the time away. Thanks Eden for the ride. Thanks to you both for a good time. How good was it that we had all that fantastic firewood all ncely cut up for us to use. I must say that that lamb really hit the spot last night.

Now just remember during the week- that place is still there, and just as nice as it was this weekend. We can certianly use it again. Only downside was that so many tracks were locked. Having been going to the Watagans for so many years and then not for a while, this was a shock. Maybe a result of Bob Carr's decsion to turn much of the State Forrest into a National Park?
